Katy Perry’s fierce Super Bowl beauty look

Katy Perry’s Super Bowl half-time performance was pretty incredible, but here at bh, we were even more impressed with her AH-mazing beauty look. (Shocking!)

For her eyes, the 30-year-old performer went for a thick, bold liner and silver glitter combo. Never one to follow the ‘less-is-more’ rule, she also rocked her signature red lip.

As well as being a sassy singer, Katy is a Covergirl make-up ambassador, so naturally make-up artist Jake Baily used Covergirl products to create the look:

Unfortunately, the other products he used aren’t available in Oz yet, but you can still get Katy’s make-up look using the following goodies (which are pretty damn close):

Eyeliner: Benefit Magic Ink Jet-Black Liquid Eyeliner
Eyeshadow: E.L.F. Australia Essential Glitter Eyeshadow in ‘Night Owl’
Lashes: Eyelure Katy Perry Oh, My!
Lippie: L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Extraordinaire in ‘Ruby Opera’
Foundation: Covergirl truBLEND Liquid Makeup

And this was the aftermath…

As for her hair (which she’s dyed black again after experimenting with purple), Katy opted for a sleek, super-high ponytail styled in a glossy retro wave.

While it certainly wasn’t an ‘everyday’ sort of beauty look, the singer obviously had to ensure she stood out amongst the spectacle (after all, she had to compete with the likes of giant blown-up palm trees and dancing pineapples).

I’m not gonna lie: I love Katy for championing all that is big, bold and a bit retro when it comes to beauty. At bh, we’re big believers in taking a hair or make-up risk from time to time.

Now, to dig up some glittery eyeliner…

Did you watch Katy Perry’s Super Bowl performance?
