Ever Wondered How Kate Hudson’s Lips Look So Perfect? We’ve Got The Answer

Okay we get it, call us fickle, but we’ve spent an alarming large amount of time wondering, how does Kate Hudson get her lips to look so sensational? Are there better things to think about? Most definitely. But we’re so deep in the world of beauty that Andie Anderson’s (our journalistic icon) lip colour is truly what keeps us up at night.

Lucky for you though, that means we’ve searched and we’ve scoured and we’ve finally stumbled across the exact products that make up her perfect pinky-nude glossy pout. Sure we’ve heard rumblings that it was the Kjaer Weis Lip Gloss ($50.38 at Revolve Clothing), but we weren’t sure that that was our only option.

The Artist Behind The Look

If there’s one thing that we love more than figuring out our fave celebs’ beauty looks, it’s the makeup artists behind the looks sharing all the sought after details. Debra Ferullo makeup artists to the likes of Courtney Cox, Drew Barrymore and of course, Kate Hudson herself, happily shared the lip look we’re all keen to recreate.

Kate Hudson’s Exact Lip Look

Okay, we’ll start with the devastating news first… One of the oh-so glossy shades is not available in Australia. Yep, it’s a true tragedy. But, two out of three isn’t bad and we’ve got you covered for a similar shade.

Starting the look with the win of the century. Overkill? Nope, this lip liner is literally less than $13! AND it’s available at Chemist Warehouse.

Line your lips with the Flower Lip Liner in ‘Blush’ ($12.99 at Chemist Warehouse); the pout-perfecting, crease-free formula is infused with vitamin E and will provide you with a seriously smudge-proof base.

Next up is the glossy glow that we just can’t get enough of. So, makeup artist Debra blended two shades of Milk Makeup Odyssey Lip Oil Gloss to create Kate’s pinky pout. The first neutral pinky shade that created this stunning look is ‘Soul Search’ ($45 at Sephora). However, the shade ‘Shimmer Scintillant’ is unfortunately unavailable in Australia. Our closest match from the range is ‘Werk Trip’ (also $45 at Sephora).

Simply blend the two glosses over your pout for the perfect ‘your lips but better’ glow.
