What are the 5 beauty products that you can’t live without?
- Voeu Naturals Cream Cleanser
- Voeu Naturals Facial Night Cream
- Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler
- Voeu Naturals Facial Scrub
- Go-To Transformazing Sheet Mask
What beauty products do you always carry with you in your handbag?
Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm and the Lanolips 101 Ointment.
Describe your everyday makeup routine?
Very simple! I cleanse with the Voeu Naturals Cream Cleanser and a swipe of the Voeu Naturals Micellar Water, wait for that to dry then moisturise with the Voeu Naturals Facial Day Cream. Then I apply eye cream. Next, a light layer of foundation, powder, cream blush, curl the lashes and apply mascara then draw on some eyebrows and I’m good to go! Has to be fast to get me out the door for the school run.
Does your beauty routine change when you’re really busy?
Not really to be honest. Because it is super fast and simple everyday. I can get it done in about 10 mins if I need to. I feel like there is never enough time for a luxurious pampering session in the morning so it’s always a quick routine. I don’t think you need to spend a lot of time on your skin to have great skin!
Do you have any time-saving makeup tips?
I keep everything I use everyday in a little makeup bag next to the sink in my bathroom. I put everything back in once I use it so it’s all there when I need it in a hurry. Everything else is either in a different bag or in the cupboard. All the products I use everyday are right there in front of me so I’m not scrounging around trying to find different bits and pieces. Sometimes if I am in a super rush, I will just bring my makeup bag with me so I can do it on the run to save time. That way I know if I pick up that bag everything is in there ready to go!
How do you take care of your skin to keep it in such great condition?
Religiously I wash my face every morning and night. Even after a late night or event, I make sure I wash my face. Keeping it clean and hydrated is key. I love using the Voeu Naturals Facial Night Cream before bed because it is super creamy and moisturises my skin all night long. Nothing better than waking up with soft skin.
What’s the best beauty treatment that you’ve ever tried?
I’m not overly complicated with beauty treatments and I hardly ever do them! I find using a scrub, like the Voeu Naturals Facial Scrub a few times a week along with my normal everyday routine is just enough for my skin to be looked after.
What’s your favourite way to style your hair on an average morning?
I wash my hair everyday! I know it’s a bit of a no no… but I love having clean hair! So once it’s washed I normally towel dry it and blast the front of it with the hair dryer so it’s half dry then I spray a salt spray in and let it dry naturally.
What did you think of Jule Sebastian’s beauty routine? Have you tried any of these products?
Voeu Naturals Cream Cleanser is a great product!
Great tips
I am not aware of this brand.
I’ve never heard of Voeu.
That sounds like quite a lot of makeup for everyday for me.
I only carry a lipstick around in my handbag. I find some of the glass containers too heavy to carry around and really only use them at night and in the morning.
Basic routine, nothing wrong with that!
I like her simple make up routine. But can’t wash my hair every day.
I saw some Voeu products in Woolworths but it put me off when I saw on the pack they were made in Thailand.
I’m not sure I have time to wash my hair everyday.
She doesn’t rinse off the micellar water?
Yes.
Oh that does mean she’s super cool! I need to read this article again in a whole new light. : )
Never heard of Voea. At least Aesop and Lanolips are both Australian made.
never heard of Voeu before – googled it and you can buy at Woolies – and super cheap.
I also have not heard of voeu or taken any notice at Woolies either. Nice to know a normal person using normal supermarket brands.
I haven’t heard of nor seen Voeu products anywhere before
Super cheap at Woollies
It’s a very cheap brand at Woollies but it aint natural
Not a huge fan of these products
I’ve seen Voeu’s products online but I’ve never tried any of them.
