Jessica Gomes Wore This $25 Lipstick To Fashion Week

Fashion Week has officially been and gone here in Australia. As always, the week was full of drool-worthy garments, next season’s trends and ‘it’ girl appearances. And if you’re asking us beauty lovers, it was also a treasure trove of beauty recommendations. In particular, a drugstore lipstick as seen on model Jessica Gomes.

In a video shared to Instagram by the brains behind the look, celebrity makeup artist Chantelle Baker, we were blessed with the exact product and shade behind Jessica’s stunning pinky-nude pout.

Much to our surprise, the lipstick was neither sold out, discontinued or hideously expensive. If you follow celebrity makeup recommendations closely, you’ll understand why hitting this trifecta is a wonderful but rare occurrence. OK, enough stalling. The lipstick in question is the L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Intense Volume Matte Lipstick in the shade ‘Nude Admirable’ ($25, Big W).

The sleek and narrow bullet houses L’Oreal’s 16-hour wear, matte lippy. As the formulation has been cleverly enriched with both hyaluronic acid and argan oil, the finish mightn’t look shiny or glossy, however, that doesn’t mean it lacks hydration and nourishment.

Not only did the soft pink make the perfect accompaniment to Jessica’s striking cat eye, the transfer-proof and smudge-free formulation means no amount of sipping champagne or kissing people on the cheek will cause it to fade. Sounds as if it were designed specifically for fashion shows and after parties, wouldn’t you say?

But, you don’t require an invite to sit front row to justify needing this lipstick.
