Jessica Alba’s “Easy Way To Contour Naturally” Requires A Concealer And Nothing Else

Jessica Alba wears many hats. Mother, wife, entrepreneur, actress and of course, natural beauty. Never one to over do it on the eyeshadow or be too heavy-handed on the bronzer, Jessica has always been an advocate of the ‘less is more’ approach when it comes to her makeup routine.

Which is why it came as no surprise that her contour technique was one of deliberate placement and minimal product.

In a video posted to her TikTok account, Jessica demonstrated her daily face sculpting routine. Captioning the video (which has already amassed over 200 thousand views) “my easy way to contour using concealer.”

Jessica Alba’s contour technique…

To “add dimension to her face,” Jessica takes a concealer up to two shades darker than her skin, Jessica dots it across her forehead, down her cheekbones, on each side of her nose and along her jawline.

After some vigorous blending, she then follows with a lighter concealer, dotting it at the centre parts of her face, to ensure the final product looks “flawless and seamless.”

And which concealer does Jessica use? In a surprise to, well, no one, it’s the Fresh Flex Concealer from her own range, Honest Beauty.

Sadly for us Aussies, Honest Beauty don’t currently ship down under. However, to successfully execute this technique, you can use any concealer you like.

A favourite of ours? The Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lift and Firm Concealer ($50, Myer).
