Jennifer Aniston ditched her make-up for her upcoming movie, Cake – and to her fans’ surprise, she’s loving it.
Usually known for rocking lashings of mascara, a faux-tanned bod and that signature blowout, the 45-year-old former Friends star has boasted about her barefaced look, saying she was totally down to go make-up free for the new indie flick.
Speaking at a Deadline panel about the role – which sees her play a very unglamorous woman – the actress insisted that forgoing her usual beauty look was surprisingly “so fabulous — so dreamy and empowering and liberating.”
Referring to her character’s injuries following a car crash, she happily said “the only time I had to sit in the makeup chair was just for the scars.”
Of course, as the face of Aveeno skincare (apparently, she swears by their Daily Moisturising Lotion), Jen certainly can pull off a barefaced beauty look.
In fact, this isn’t the first time the bronzed beauty has championed it, getting on the make-up free selfie social media bandwagon last year.
While I’m impressed at the actress’ commitment to her role, I just hope she keeps wowing us with stunning make-up and hair ‘dos on the red carpet!
