The Exact Foundation Jennifer Aniston Wore For *That* Cover Shoot

We’ve said it before and we’re certain we’ll say it again: Jennifer Aniston has never looked better. How does she keeping doing it? Maybe it has something to do with eating the same salad every day for a decade. Or perhaps it’s her luscious hip-length, caramel-blonde hair (ah, the benefits of having your own haircare range). It could even be attributed to her “zero regrets” mentality, a mindset she shared during her interview with Allure as she reflected back on her decades-long struggle with fertility and the media scrutiny that came alongside it.

There are endless reasons as to why Jennifer only gets brighter and more beautiful with age and, if you allowed us to, we could spend all day listing them out. But, for the sake of time, we’re going to pick just one.

So, here’s something a little easier to recreate than good genetics: good makeup.

As told by Jen’s go-to makeup artist, Gucci Westman, here’s the exact base combination used to create her dewy, radiant skin for Allure‘s final December issue.

The exact foundation used on Jennifer…

To create a radiant base, Gucci applied the Vital Skin Complexion Drops ($130.30, Net-A-Porter). Not so much the full-coverage formulation you’d expect for a magazine shoot, these lightweight, skin-focused drops create a soft sheer veil across the skin. Plus, thanks to the enrichment of avocado and sweet almond oil, the skin is left hydrated, plump and visibly smooth.

Following on from this, Gucci then picked up the Vital Skin Foundation Stick ($102, MECCA) to spot conceal areas which required it.

And there you have it. Tinted serums are the new foundation and foundation is the new concealer. Who knew.

Have you tried either of these products before? If not, would you like to?

  1. Very light coverage foundations do not work for me as I need coverage for broken capillaries. Also, very light foundations usually sink into the larger pores on my face, creating a horrible polka dots look.
