Iris Apfel Has Collaborated On Her First-Ever Makeup Line (And She’s Got 101 Years Of Experience)

What do you plan to be doing when you’re 101 years old? Developing a makeup line isn’t on your shortlist, we’re guessing. Unless of course your name is Iris Apfel. In which case, that’s exactly what you’re doing. The interior designer, business woman, fashion icon and now beauty entrepreneur has released her first-ever makeup line in collaboration with Ciaté London. Impressed yet?

Ciaté London’s founder and CEO, Charlotte Knight, said, “Iris is the queen of experimentation, which has made collaborating that much more fun. Her personality is personified through colours, clashes and textures.”

In true Iris fashion, the eight-piece makeup range embodies her personal “more is more” style. Expect glitter eyeshadows, bold lipsticks and funky nail art stickers.

In the words of Iris, this range is “for the creatives, the routine-lovers and the daredevils, this collection combines everything I have come to love about beauty over my 100 years.”

She continued, “I hope this collection acts as a reminder that to be truly yourself is to be unstoppable.”

Now that’s a message we can get around.

These products are almost certain to become collector’s items one day. As the majority of the range is low in stock or already sold out, it seems like we’re not the only ones thinking this way.
