No matter how hard you try, keeping your bedroom or bathroom neat and tidy can be instantly undone by the scattering of a foundation brush here, and an eyeshadow palette there.
And while the walk-in wardrobe gets maximum airtime from fashion lovers, it seems that the attention on beauty storage is often overlooked.

So, if your home is missing a dedicated glam room but you have more gold liquid eyeliners than shoes (zero judgement), then it’s time to redirect your focus away from the bedroom closet and over to the bathroom vanity. Or in this case, the trolley.
In true IKEA fashion, the $49 three-tiered trolley, AKA the ‘Raskog’ is incredibly small-space friendly. Containing four wheels, the trolley is free to bounce between rooms as the search for perfect lighting has you going from mirror to mirror.

This stylish and compact solution will create order amongst the makeup chaos, while the open shelves allow for easy access. In other words, there’ll be no time wasted searching high and low for items, packing and unpacking smaller boxes kept stacked within draws. Because as we all know, the products you can see are the products you’ll actually use.

We suppose there is always the option to clean out your beauty collection and keep your products to an absolute minimum but before we make any irrational and potentially year-ruining decisions, we propose you give our alternative solution a try.
The only hard part you’ll face is selecting which of the four stunning colours you want to take home.

How do you store your beauty products? Would you give this trolley a go?
I’m working on decluttering and using up product, so thankfully I don’t need more organisation. They’re a good idea, tho
Do not like it. But want to get one of those over-the-door mirror and cosmetics cupboard organizer. They look mad, take little space, and are so convenient for getting ready and storing everyday cosmetics and hair nig nags!
Thankfully we have a ensuite with 2 sinks and lots of cupboard space. I have a similar thing in my shower though, (which is big too), for all the things my hubby and I use and the 4 bottles of conditioner I currently have open. . I don’t know what I will do if we move house! . This thing from Ikea would make a smaller bathroom look a bit tidier and more organised though.
Genius. Had a similar trolley but with roll out drawers. This looks even easier to use.
Not bad! Kmart have some pretty good makeup storage products too. I’ve taken over the spare room. My everyday stuff is in the bathroom but the rest of it is neatly stored in various containers, including Mecca boxes. The door is kept closed so my naughty cat can’t steal my stuff!
Oh I want a couple….yes please.
lol I have two of these in the main bedroom & WIR! They are so cool!!
Oh very handy
It looks like a useful storage unit.
I lile it, but a trip to Ikea with two kids under 3 sounds like a nightmare. Kmart does have a similar storage unit too
Would be great inside built ins or walk in closets if needed.
I don’t mind it but don’t have anywhere to store it (where it would be of use)
I don’t need a trolley I have an acrylic makeup box
I have a very stylish one that cost me 7 dollars. look around plenty cheaper
Wow love that it has rollers!
Not to my taste.
I live alone, so I used to use the bathroom medicine cabinet, but now I’ve got too much to fit in there. I leave the everyday items in there & the overflow in my dressing table drawers. I’ve got a whole drawerful of lippies & another with eyeshadows.
I have this trolley and so much more. It’s clear I’ve got storage issues
I’m not keen on open shelving so I’d rather have a closed in unit but at present my storage needs are taken care of.
aren’t these originally designed for the kitchen?
Ikea always full of great ideas for extra storage, will definitely consider buying a Trolley for my bathroom not enough storage!
Wouldn’t work in my bathroom, I just need to use up a lot of stuff.
My bathroom looks like photo number 1 and then everything else is in the top drawer of the vanity.
Unfortunately we don’t have an ensuite & my bathroom isn’t large enough to store this type of trolley.
I was thinking the same thing but my walk robe is waaaaay too far away from my bathroom. Besides no room in my wardrobe even after decluttering during lockdown.
Not really. I have seen Hairdressers using this style of trolley for years.
It’s a cute idea but don’t certain perfumes and makeup products expire quicker if left out in the light like that?
I’d prefer to leave mine in a dark drawer….plus my bathroom isn’t big enough for those cool trollies
I’m always rearranging my beauty products. Don’t really like this trolley though.
Can’t say I’m a fan of this trolley tbh. I prefer keeping my perfumes in a darker space (i.e. on a shelf inside my wardrobe) + I’m also not that keen on open shelving. Looks similar to something I’d see at my hairdressers.
Mm, I have an acrylic makeup box and a drawer in my desk for overflow, plus some storage boxes for product backups, hair dye, and special occasion stuff. I try to keep my bathroom to every day needs because it’s small and steamy so it’s not the best storage place for most things. It’s ideal for plants though!
Love the idea, but it would be covered in dusk & cat hair in 2 seconds in my house
That is a cute little cart.
I need one of these in my life but don’t have the room for it in my en suite/laundry so will have to keep it elsewhere.
I’d need a few of these…….
I have one of these trolleys in my craft room filled with cardmaking/scrapbooking stuff!! I’m lucky I have plenty of cupboards in the bathroom, I use long clear containers to store my beauty products so everything is easy to reach.
I have had one of these carts before and they are really useful, so useful that both my daughters wanted the one I had.
You still need to find space for it
Exactly, I’d have trouble finding room for one at my place.
Great idea!!! But I don’t have enough stuff to warrant purchasing this…
Great for any storage.
Although the trolley could be useful I am lucky to have enough bathroom storage already.
Same here!
i keep mine in makeup bags, but that is very time consuming getting things in and out every day
I really like these, pity I don’t have an ikea anywhere near me
I keep my makeup mainly in makeup bags and on my study desk out. I need to reorganise it though as it is pretty all over the place.
Cute, but I prefer to store my makeup and skincare in my bathroom cupboards and drawers so there’s less clutter around.
I don’t have one as it wouldn’t be enough to store my “collection” but would have many uses apart from beauty storage
I love this! I don’t have much storage space but I have a lot of beauty products so I love reading about different ways to organize.
that’s true
While it looks and sounds cute, I don’t like open storage like this due to dust and exposure to sunlight for products.
