Are you an aspiring model? Would you love the opportunity to be flown to Hong Kong for free and potentially become the face of a beauty brand?
Well, then, we think we have just the thing for you.
It’s called the Mary Kay Dream Beautiful Contest and it’s not just about helping women feel beautiful from the inside out, it’s also about encouraging aspiring models to discover their beauty by teaming up with Mary Kay Beauty Consultants to achieve their dreams.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
If you’re interested, get in touch with a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant in your area* and arrange for a free Mary Kay makeover party. Take before and after shots at your makeover party, sign a few consent forms and leave the before and after pictures with your beauty consultant – she’ll upload them to the competition site for you.
The top 50 contestants will then go into the public online voting round of the competition, which will select the top 10 semi-finalists. A panel of judges will then pick the top two finalists. These finalists and their beauty consultants will go to Hong Kong (all expenses paid) for the Asia-Pacific Finale and will represent Australia and New Zealand.
Finalists will compete against each other in the next stage, where there’ll be a week of training workshops and lots of challenges – all culminating in a professionally-produced live catwalk show in front of a huge audience.
One model will be crowned as the new face of Mary Kay in Asia Pacific, while her Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant will be titled as the Make Up Artist of the Year in the Mary Kay Asia Pacific Network.
WHAT EXACTLY CAN I WIN?
The model winner will win a year as the official regional ambassador of international beauty brand Mary Kay. She’ll also take part in an international photo shoot in the US and will star on the cover of Mary Kay’s internal magazine.
The make-up artist winner will become the official regional make-up artists of the year in Mary Kay Asia Pacific, will lead the make-up for an international photo shoot in the US, will receive cover credit on Mary Kay’s internal magazine, and will receive recognition in local Mary Kay seminars, as well as take part in various local make-up workshops and projects.WHEN DOES THIS ALL HAPPEN?
The contest period has begun and will finish on 30 June 2104.
Public online voting will commence on 8 July 2014 and end on 14 July 2014.
The semi-finalists will be announced on 18 July 2014.
