If you didn’t already realise the power of great make-up, you certainly will now.
Supermodel Heidi Klum has shown us exactly how it’s done, documenting her incredible make-up transformation for a photo shoot (on Instagram, of course).
In the before shot, her famous face looks almost completely bare, with her damp hair scraped back. The genetically blessed model may be wearing a bit of foundation and/or illuminator, but she’s definitely sans mascara and her brows are au naturale.
The after snap is totally different. In fact, it’s a wee bit scary! The drastic change includes some seriously defined cheekbones, pale lippie, smoky winged eye make-up and bold brows. The model’s almost unrecognisable:
As you can see, the combination of strategic contouring tricks and bright lighting has made Heidi look like a completely different person. And that’s not even taking into account her hair, which has quadrupled in size. Talk about volume!
Of course, Heidi’s no stranger to this sort of treatment. In fact, she even embraces it outside of work hours – remember her incredible Halloween make-up stunt?
Personally, I prefer Heidi with subtle, girly waves – but that’s just me.
Either way, I think it’s great when celebs share honest beauty snaps like these. It takes a LOT of work to look picture perfect – even for the world’s hottest models.
Although, if I had Heidi’s #flawless ‘before’ skin, I’d probably keep it bare!
