Love her or leave her, you’ve got to admit, Gwyneth Paltrow knows her stuff when it comes to beauty. Sure, she’s got some quirky takes when it comes to beauty hacks and at-home facials. But her flawless complexion and the success of her beauty and wellness empire, Goop, proves that Gwyneth truly is a bona fide beauty guru.
Goop has become a staple brand in the bathroom vanities of beauty editors and aficionados alike since the launch of its skin care line in 2016. And now the brand has finally made its first foray into the world of colour cosmetics.
“We are moving into colour cosmetics! After all these years we have these amazing colour balms,” Gwyneth shared in an Instagram video announcement. We think we may have just found our new favourite cream blush…
The Goop Beauty Colorblur Glow Balms retail for $34 USD (approximately $52.75 AUD) and promise to deliver a “hint of gorgeous colour”. The skin care-makeup hybrid balm is infused with soothing vitamin E, sea buckthorn oil for glow and safflower oil to support the skin’s natural barrier function. Barrier protection in a blush? We’ll take 10.
Oh, and not to mention the balms come in five stunning shades from a soft peachy tone to a rich berry hue and can be applied to your cheeks, lips and eyes. What’s not to love about a good multi-use makeup product?!

“I’m not very big into makeup so I’ve always been into the best skin you can have, the most hydrated, exfoliated skin,” Gwyneth said. “And then when I do need to wear makeup, I just wear something that looks really natural and minimal.”
And the Goop blush balms deliver just that. “It’s a beautiful amount of pigment,” she continued. “It just looks like you’re getting a little sun-kissed glow.”
If you prefer a brighter pop of colour on your cheeks, stress not. The balms are easily buildable so you can customise the intensity to your liking, whether that be a natural flush or a bolder blush moment.
Unfortunately for us, Goop doesn’t ship to Australia. But the brand is stocked at MECCA and whilst the Colorblur Glow Balms haven’t hit the shelves just yet, stay tuned in the coming months…
Would you like to try the new Goop blush balms?
I honestly will never spend a dime on Goop in my lifetime.
I don’t think I will either
Same
Same here – I’d run a mile to avoid Goop.
agreed
Yep, that’s a hard pass from me too.
I’m happy with the blush i currently own, so no, I won’t be trying it.
That’s so overpriced…no thanks
Like we needed another celebrity makeup product
I’ll be interested to read reviews.
Me too .Proof is in the eating!
No, not into celeb marketed things.
Nope, not wearing blush.
If one fell out of the sky into my bag I’d give it a crack, otherwise not fussed
Oh I wish Chrystalage !!
What is wrong with them?
I still don’t like it because of her candle
A bit pricey so probably won’t buy
It sounds interesting but the price !!!
How does she have great skin when she doesn’t eat a balanced meals?
Like most of the comments here I wouldn’t say no but I’m not going to buy them for myself. Not that I have anything against her but these are not cheap.
Would I like to try it? Yep!
Would I buy it myself? No!
I love the idea of multi use make up products.
Yes Angage I agree with this idea.
I love the colours
Love this brand
I’m not a fan of Gwynweth, particularly, but these balms do look good.
She has very simple make up which i really like, id definitely like to try the blush at some point
Definitely. I love these colours.
They look nice but I would never ever support Gwyneth!
The shades look lovely, but I won’t be wasting my money.
I can imagine the price tag. These just look like every other cream blush release this year.
These don’t look sticky or goopy.
I know they will be expensive, but they look so natural.
