Incorporating teal eyeliner into your daily make-up look

Day make-up is a tricky thing. You want to look flawless and wonderful while still oozing natural radiance (read: not like you’ve layered on the slap for a night out on the town).

Usually this translates to sheer foundation, slightly flushed cheeks, and neutral eye make-up.

So where does colour fit into your natural, every day make-up?

You may think bright colours are too daring for the office but done right, you can add a splash of colour to your eyes without looking or feeling like your make-up is over the top.

Glominerals make-up artist Kate McCarthy reveals how just a little teal eyeliner can make a huge impact to your day look.

You’ll need:
Glominerals Eyeshadow Trio in Champagne Rose
Glominerals Precise Mictro Liner in Teal
Glominerals Lash Boosting Mascara
Glominerals Eye Base Brush
Gominerals Crease Brush
Glominerals Eye Blender Brush
Glominerals Smudge Brush

Step one:

Using the Eye Base Brush, apply the lightest shade from the Eye Shadow Trio over your entire lid.

Step two:

Using the Crease Brush, apply the darkest shade from the eyeshadow palette into your eyelid crease.

Step three:

Press the pink shade into your lid and blend thoroughly into the crease of your eye using the Eye Blender Brush.

Step four:

Apply a thin line of the Precise Micro Eyeliner on the top of your lid.

Step five:

Using the Smudge Brush, blend the pink shade into the bottom of your lash line to create a soft, smoky effect.

Step six:

Apply two coats of the Lash Boosting Mascara.

See? A punchy eye look that won’t leave you or anyone else thinking that you’ve taken your make-up that one step too far.

What do you think of this teal eye make-up look? Will you try and recreate it?
