You’ve heard of the term ‘First World Problems’ before, right? Well, if not, it’s the kind of problem that really pales in comparison to real, actual life problems, like, for example, famine or illness.
For those of us who love all things beauty, we regularly encounter what I like to call First World Beauty Problems, or FWBPs. One of mine is struggling to get on a pair of jeans after I’ve moisturised. And because I know I’m not alone, I asked our members what some of their FWBPs are, and this is what they said:
“My nails have grown a bit too long, and it’s making it hard to type on my iPad!” – Rose_P.
“When you freshly paint your nails and then bump them when they are still a tad wet.” – Jodie938.
“Sneezing before my mascara has dried and ending up with little black dots everywhere!” – cat lover.
“Discovering in the last couple of days that my husband has taken a liking to ‘my’ Venus shaver for some time now so he can shave his head in the shower!” – softness.
“I keep buying new eyeshadow pallettes but hardly ever use eyeshadow, but they look so pretty…” – philippa495.
“Shower gels/body lotions taking forever to finish. I want to try/buy new ones.” – Soan.
“When I spend ages picking out a nail colour then it doesn’t go with the outfit I want to wear.” – ChannyyyLove.
“Getting the perfect winged eyeliner on one eye and completely f’ing up the other.” – Cherie751.
“When all your nails finally reach the same length…and one breaks.” – Turquoise Nails.
“Applying eye shadow from an 88 palette onto one eye, and then forgetting which one of the 7 greens I used, and the other eye doesn’t match – boo!” – katshepsutt.
“When your hair constantly gets stuck to your lipgloss.” – Lawliet.
“When my facial peel mask gets into my eyebrows, and I almost give myself an impromptu eyebrow waxing at removal time.” – Linda_Vesinger.
“Wanting to try all of my six new nail polishes at once, but not wanting to take off the only polish that hasn’t chipped after 24 hrs.” – Michelle007.
“I am always a victim of the I’ve Just Painted My Nails Now I Need to Go to the Bathroom/Do Anything That Will Mess Up My Nail Polish game.” – Scarlett Sixgun.

I can so relate to forgetting which colours I used in a multiple colour eyeshadow palette – haha! & sneezing after applying mascara. 🙁
