There’s nothing worse than oversleeping and leaving yourself less than five minutes to slap on your day’s make-up and still look presentable.
So instead of feeling flustered and rushed (or forgoing your make-up altogether) when you’ve hit the snooze button one too many times, here’s a quick and super-easy everyday make-up look – courtesy of Rae Morris and her spectacular book Express Makeup – that will leave you looking fresh, natural, and beautifully radiant.
Step #1:
Apply foundation all over your face, except your eyelids. This produces a glossy eye effect.
beautyheaven recommends: Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup. The foundation melts right into your skin, giving your complexion a completely natural finish. It’ll also help give you the perfect amount of coverage for an everyday look.
Step #2:
Curl your lashes and apply loads of mascara to both the top and bottom lashes.
beautyheaven recommends:Revlon Cushion Grip Lash Curler and Revlon CustomEyes Mascara.
Step #3:
To set off this look, mattify your foundation using either powder or anti-shine primer. Apply a cream blush to your cheeks.
beautyheaven recommends: Revlon ColorStay Aqua Mineral Finishing Powder andRevlon PhotoReady Cream Blush.
Step #4:
Finish off with a soft peach cream lipstick.
beautyheaven recommends: Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Creamsicle.
