We think there’s one universal truth we can all agree on. Eva Longoria is a beautiful woman. But she didn’t grow up feeling that way. Growing up Eva has said that she didn’t have a relationship with beauty even saying she never identified as beautiful (a knife to our Desperate Housewives-loving hearts). Although her pursuit of identity led her to realise how funny she is and turn to acting. A blessing!
In a recent Vogue video yes we’ve been blessed with nearly 12 minutes of Eva glory, the star walks us through her everyday makeup look, even giving us a warning that it “may be a lot” for us, because she wears a “full face of makeup everyday”. And honestly, we wish we put this much effort into our everyday makeup looks.
Now when we say this makeup look is affordable, we’re not talking the two dollar bargain bin at Priceline-level. And for a celeb we reckon these products are actually pretty reasonable. Our L’Oréal-loving (understandably as she’s an ambassador) lady embraces her glam side in everyday life, not dulling down who she is, regardless of the position she’s in. So, let’s see how she creates her everyday makeup look…
Eva Longoria’s Everyday Makeup Look
Glowing Base Makeup
To create her bronzey, glowing base, Eva starts off by rubbing L’Oréal True Match Lumi Glotion ($36.55 at iHerb) across her face (she then jumps to do her eyes but you’ll have to keep reading to see how she did those). Next is a little correction action, with Eva quickly dotting the L’Oréal Infallible Full Coverage Concealer ($31.99 at Priceline) across areas of her face she wanted to brighten (of course going in under the eyes). In the most relatable turn of events Eva describes that she’ll be using a lighter (in texture) foundation because “I’m having a skin moment, like my skin looks pretty good lately”. Iconic, really. The skin tint of choice? Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Skin Tint ($75 at Adore Beauty).
For both her bronzer and blush Eva goes in first with a cream option then ‘setting’ it in with a powder. Her cream faves are the Makeup by Mario SoftSculpt Bronzer ($58 at Sephora) and the Makeup by Mario Soft Pop Plumping Blush Veil ($55 at Sephora). Revealing her love for Victoria Beckham’s makeup line (real recognises real), Eva uses the Victoria Beckham Beauty Matte Bronzing Brick ($96 at Victoria Beckham Beauty) blending the two colours before applying. As for her powder blush, she opts for a peachy punch from TheBalm Hot Mama! ($34.95 at Adore Beauty) Cautiously setting it all (to avoid the powder settling into fine lines) with RMS Beauty Tinted UnPowder ($61 at MECCA), Eva tells us the ‘baking’ trend was not for her.
Simmering Eye Makeup
Starting by creating a base for her shadow with her concealer, Eva then takes the ‘light side’ of the Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette ($74 at Sephora) across her lids, with a slight brown transition colour towards the outer corners of her eyes. We were very pleased when she decided to zhuzh it up a little with a sparkly copper colour, before finishing her eyes off with a good smudging of Victoria Beckham Beauty Satin Kajal Eyeliner in ‘cocoa’ ($53 at Victoria Beckham Beauty).
For brows, Eva is “obsessed” with Huda Beauty # Bomb Brows Microshade Brow Pencil ($26 at Adore Beauty) and because she gets all the insider tips (we’re taking notes), she’s been told to outline the brows before filling them in.
The DIY queen has shown us that not only can we get away with wearing lashes on the daily, but the at-home extension versions are actually pretty achievable. Her lashes of choice? Introduced to her by her makeup artist Elan Bongiorno is the Lashify Lashify The Control Kit ($135 at Lashify). And then onto the rest of her look we go.
Lacquered Lips
Lip liner is one of those things we never understood while we were young, but as we get older and trends come back around, we totally get the need. And Eva is someone who loves a good lip liner, joking that she “asks a lot from it”. Her longwearing, creamy pick? The Victoria Beckham Beauty Lip Definer in ‘shade five’ ($50 at Victoria Beckham Beauty); Eva lines her lips and gives them a good “mush” together before then going in with lipstick. Her exact shades? L’Oréal Color Riche Original Satin Lipstick in ‘Ginger Spice’ and ‘Toasted Almond’ (which sadly aren’t available in Australia, but check out the other options for $24.99 at Priceline).
As she applied her lippy, she reminisced about how she used to take her mum’s lipstick bullets back in the day. To finish the lip look (and the makeup overall), she glossed it up with a layer of Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ($36 at Sephora) and off she went to “pick up her son, looking fly” “as the hottest mom out there”. We couldn’t agree more.

That is a lot of make up, i don’t think I’d have the time for it
She could go without makeup and still look fab. Great genes.
She is lovely and such a nice smile.
False lashes, 2 blushes & 2 bronzers every day? I’d class that as super-formal – not for me, but she looks great.
very nice makeup
not sure I’d be calling all of these affordable, but looks great
I don’t have time for that much makeup every day, but then I don’t get photographed as often as she does either!
She looks fabulous, but that’s way too much makeup for me.
Her makeup suits her well. I rarely use makeup. I’m not in the public eye.
