Disco fever

D-I-S-C-O. That’s what’s going through my head right now as I prepare for the weekend.

I don’t know why, but my girlfriends and I have decided to par-tay big this weekend. The only downside, of course, is figuring out my party looks – hence the disco fever; I’ve decided shimmering and glistening my way onto the dance floor is the only way to go, so I’ll be drenching myself in these disco delights:

It’s impossible for me to start with anything other than Bourjois Glossy Jewel Accessory. A lip gloss in a disco ball, hell-ooo did the Bourjois beauties read my mind? It’s the perfect combo for all beauty/disco nuts like myself. It’s limited edition Christmas 2008 though, so be sure to snap one up quick.

Studio 54, only the greatest disco of all time – oh how I wish that I’d partied with Mick and Bianca back in the day – is the inspiration behind CND Creative Nail Design Blacklight Studio 54. The bright purple polish actually glows in the dark – fan-funky-tastic.

Also fabulous for my foray back into the 70s is Australis 21st Birthday Collection Lipsticks in Disco Fever. The limited edition lipstick danced its way into Pretty…oh so pretty this week and is perfect really, considering any self-respecting disco diva is only 21 at heart.

Inspired by our Girlie crushes article, I think I’ll also be whipping out a Farrah flick or two.
