Primer is one of those makeup products that some people swear by while others have no qualm in skipping the step altogether.
But we’re here to show you that if you find a primer that works for your skin type and goals, it can make a big difference.
Watch the video above to see how bh’s Sam and bh’s Aja select and use a primer that’s best suited to them. Because while primers are great for extending the wear of your makeup, they can also tackle some skin concerns right from the start.
For Sam, she’s all about hydration and glow as her skin is dry and dull. For Aja, who is redness prone, a little colour-correcting before foundation goes a long way.
And if you’re interested in the products they’ve used, you can read reviews on each of them here:

Do you use a primer? Have you tried any Nude by Nature products?
I like the moisturising ones, not the sticky ones, i suppose that is silicon, I do not like that
I only use a primer under makeup
Yes me too. If I’m out I’m in a mask! And who wears makeup at home!
This primer looks good 🙂
I don’t use a primer as I don’t wear foundation.
I really must use one of the primer samples I have to see how it works for me.
A nice primer always makes the skin look and feel better
Think I might have to purchase
thanks for the tips
Great video and tips
Great article and video, Sam and Aja. You both look amazing. I love the idea of the illuminating and hydrating nude by nature primer. I love everything nbn.
I don’t use one as often as I should.
Yep primer makes such a difference
A primer is good to hide the redness but often the green or yellow shows through
I love using primer really makes a difference
I’m in need of a new primer
I rarely use a primer for my dry and mature skin. I’ve tried a few in the past and I did not see much benefit from them.
