This K-Beauty Brand Just Launched Two Lipsticks Named After Kate And Meghan

The Duchess duo has been reunited. Sort of. If you’re unfamiliar with the K-Beauty brand, Dear Dahlia, allow us to catch you up to speed. The vegan, K-Beauty brand is best known for creating products thatc deliver “timeless beauty and modern, classic aesthetics” — which is why it makes total sense that its latest launch is dedicated to two women who embody exactly that: Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

Intrigued? Same.

What exactly does Dear Dahlia have to do with Kate and Meghan?

The already popular longwear lipstick — Lip Paradise Intense Satin — has expanded its range, adding the two shades ’Kate’ and ‘Megan’ into the mix. Although Dear Dahlia’s spelling is slightly different to what the Duchess of Sussex goes by, there’s no way you’ll convince us that launching alongside a lipstick named ‘Kate’ is just a coincidence. Please, we weren’t born yesterday.

After all, there are one too many royal connections floating around already.

Ok, get this, the brand’s iconic octagonal-shaped lipstick bullet has been crafted to mimic the Dahlia flower which is also known as the “queen of the garden” and presents the varying and individual beauty within each person. Pretty cute, right?

What do the Duchess-inspired lipsticks look like?

Just as Kate and Meghan are both beautiful and unique in their own way, so too are their dedicated lipstick shades.

Let’s check them out…

The ‘Kate’ lipstick ($55, Sephora) – which has already sold out – is a lighter pink-hued nude. Not dissimilar to lipsticks we’ve seen the Duchess wear in the past. Stunning.

As for the ‘Megan’ ($55, Sephora), for those who love a deeper pink without the nude undertones, this one’s for you. This universally flattering shade will suit all skin tones and hair colours. So, whether Meghan is keeping her hair au natural or she’s revisiting her days as a redhead, she’d be clever to keep this lippy close.

Obviously the two sisters-in-law didn’t have anything to do with the lipstick formulation. However, we can’t help but wonder whether they’d agree with their assigned shade.

Perhaps Kate would go as far as adding it to her royal-approved beauty list. We’ll be sure to update you if we ever find out.
