When it comes to seeing Cyndi Lauper take a red carpet, we just can’t help ourselves but put on a playlist of her best hits at full volume and watch as her true colours come out. Our fave part, is always trying to dissect her beauty looks (the same as all celebs). But thankfully, we had the seriously helpful intel of Cyndi’s incredible makeup artist Nafra Gonzalez, who spilled all the info.

Okay, so, we’ve got a lot of bad news to share with this scoop. Unfortunately, both of the actual lipsticks Cyndi was wearing are no longer available. But we can share the the base of her coral-toned show-stopping pout are thanks to the cult-classic, ’90s fave, M.A.C. ‘Spice’ Lipliner ($40 at Adore Beauty).

With major love and hype throughout the decades, it’s a liner shade that’s stood the test of time, still standing out as a fan fave, even after it was reformulated.

Alright, so, we now know that if and when we get the chance to jet off in a time machine we’ll be stocking up on all our beauty faves. Namely, Nars Lipstick in ‘Barbarella’ and M.A.C Lipstick in ‘Curtsy’, because that combo looks incredible on Cyndi.
