Yep, it’s official, there’s another brand new beauty brand on the block. Except this time, it’s not going to boggle and confuse you. Nope, Celeste Barber has made damn sure of that!

Introducing, Booie Beauty. The collection is designed to hit the sweet spot between accessible and affordable .Consisting of five beauty essentials, the simple collection puts the fun back in functional (yep, we went there). The range is designed for everyone. No matter your age or gender, you can pick up a Booie Beauty product and know it’s for you, to help you embrace your inner beauty, flaws and all.

So, let’s find out more about Booie Beauty and of course, get the inside goss into Celeste Barber’s beauty secrets…

Celeste Barber On Booie Beauty

Why did you decide to launch a beauty range?

Celeste Barber has officially solidified herself as the every woman (although, we already knew that). Being a time-poor mum she doesn’t have time for long beauty routines or to “watch 75 minute tutorials”. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love makeup, so she “decided to create Booie for [her] girls who are looking for a simple, affordable and quality everyday beauty solution”.

What’s your favourite product from the line?

Let’s be real, there’s almost one universal makeup item that we all can’t live without. Mascara. And Celeste is absolutely no different. Her fave product from the line is her You’re Welcome Tubular Mascara ($31 at Booie Beauty). “As a lashes girl, I created this mascara that I’m so proud of,” she told us. “It’s the tits, I wear it everyday”.

Do you have anything in the pipeline you can give us a hint about?

Look, maybe we’re being a little bit too cheeky asking for what’s coming when the initial line has literally just launched. But, even though she’s “overwhelmed [with] how well the brand is going” there is definitely more on the cards. In fact, she hinted that she’s going to “expand the range later this year”.

Celeste Barber Beauty Secrets

What’s the craziest thing you’ve done for beauty?

As a former dancer Celeste has had to do some out there looks. But her fave? Dousing herself in glitter, she “used to go mad on the the glitter”. Are you ready for glitter? Because Celeste “would love to bring back those days”.

What’s the best beauty secret you’ve learnt?

From sitting in a makeup chair often to launching her very own beauty line, Celeste has undoubtedly come across a few tips and tricks. Her biggest secret? “Bring out the best version of you”. And the number one way to do that? “Skin prep!”. Her “makeup artist Filomena Natoli spends about half an hour prepping [her] face and skin”. Celeste “really notice[s] the difference”.

Do you have any beauty regrets or faux pas?

Much like the rest of us, Celeste’s biggest beauty regret is “believing eyebrows would grow back”. Yep, the ’90s hit us all hard (Charlize Theron included), Celeste “spent hours plucking them and now spend[s] hours [drawing them] back in”.

What’s your favourite cheap beauty product?

It’s simple, it’s cheap and it’s a home-staple. “In the words of Joan Collins, Vaseline” ($4 at Priceline), she shares. We’re all on board there.

Beauty trends can be seriously out there, so we love to hear when celebs have their worlds changed by a trend. For Celeste? She “love[s] trends, [but] never follow [s] them”. Don’t get us wrong, she “love[s] seeing them online” and while she shares that she doesn’t always “get it”, they definitely are “fun to watch”.

  1. I love Celeste, she’s so funny. I love how she never takes herself too seriously. She seems to advocate for the ‘real’ woman so not sure about a beauty line, but if it’s affordable and gets good reviews I’d definitely try it.

  2. I’ve never seen her wear that much make-up. Didn’t she used to be the brand member for McCo Beauty products. I am sure she was the face of them not that long ago.
