At the end of the day celebrities are just like us, and by like us we mean that they need concealer just as much as we do — puffy eyes are a pandemic, people.
Some celebrities have favourite cheap beauty products, like Eva Longoria and Drew Barrymore, shop for their concealers at the chemist just like we do. While A-listers like Julianne Moore may prefer more premium options, which we then like to find dupes for.
Whatever the price point, we know we can count on our favourite celebrities to give us decent concealer recommendations. Keep scrolling to discover nine celebrities’ favourite concealers.
Jennifer Lopez: Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat
from $55.30 at Adore Beauty
In an interview with Vogue, Jennifer Lopez shared that she uses Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat as a final step in her extensive contouring routine. “I take some of the concealer. This is a Touché Eclat concealer, which I really like. Great little pen. Then, I brighten a little more [in the corner of the eyes and between the brows] and then down the sides of the nose again,” she explained.
Rita Ora: Makeup By Mario Surrealskin™ Awakening Concealer
from $51 from Sephora
“I always try and find the best concealer. I did discover an incredible one by Mario,” Rita told Vogue. “It’s so good. It just doesn’t move. You don’t blend it in straight away ’cause then it kind of doesn’t cover as much. I mean look at that coverage. Isn’t it so good?”
Courteney Cox: Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation & Moisture Fit Concealer
Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation (from $66.45 at YesStyle)
Koh Gen Do Moisture Fit Concealer (from $55.59 at YesStyle)
“Since I’m always late, I wanted to learn how to do my makeup the most efficient way, in five minutes,” Courteney shared with her Instagram followers, as reported by People. “I like to mix [Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation and Koh Gen Do Moisture Fit Concealer]. I put a little bit of the base on my hand and a little bit of the concealer right next to it. I just start painting. I paint under my eyes. And I mix them together because I don’t like it to be too thick. I cover up any kind of red stuff. I put it just wherever I need to [because] I don’t like to wear a full base.”
Serena Williams: Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection Concealer
from $58 at Sephora
“There’s nothing that Pat makes that I am not completely obsessed, in love, with. I think Olympia likes it too. She actually plays a lot in my makeup,” Serena shared with Vogue. “Growing up, it was hard not to notice that there wasn’t a lot of stuff in my shade, and I’ve always loved the skin that I have, and I’ve always embraced that, especially like 15 years ago and 10 years ago when 40 shades didn’t exist and none of that was around.”
Drew Barrymore: Flower Light Illusion Full Coverage Concealer
from $9.99 at Chemist Warehouse
“This has been my absolute go-to for years,” Drew shared with her Instagram followers. “I want something that is really creamy but has a ton of coverage — I have dark circles.”
Michelle Yeoh: Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer Stick
from $116.82 at Cult Beauty
“My favourite is the Cle de Peau concealer,” Michelle told Vogue, saying it comes in handy for hiding the sins of her youth. “Unfortunately, [I have some] sun spots that I had from a long time before… when I used to stay out in the sun for too long without using the right products in my younger, wild days. So now [I’m] older, wiser, but then you still have to pay for mistakes that you did before.”
Eva Longoria: L’Oréal Paris Infallible More Than Concealer
from $15.99 at Priceline
“I put [L’Oréal Paris Infallible More Than Concealer] right where I have dark spots,” Eva shared with Vogue. “You wanna put this anywhere you want to brighten. Put it a little bit here, a little bit here. And let’s say there,” Eva explained as she dabbed the concealer’s doe foot applicator down the centre of her face, under her eyes, and under the hollows of her cheeks.
Hilary Duff: Glossier Stretch Balm Concealer
from $41 at Glossier
“I’ve just started using concealer under my eyes, and I have gotten into this Glossier concealer,” Hilary told Vogue. “It’s really light. See that? Such a difference, I feel awake.”

Have you tried any of these celebrity-approved concealers?
Yes I love and am currently using YSL’s Touché Eclat. My favourite 💗
Sounds lovely -is it pricey ?
Yup!
always the way eh !!
Yeah i think it’s $70 something but I was lucky to get it in the beautyheaven Best In Beauty Prize Pack. 💓
I think so.
The applicator on that looks so cool.
I have just been given a Lancome primer and it is lovely as a concealer too.
Not something that I use
currently using EA one which is nice with its own sponge top applicator
I’ve been looking for a good concealor for a while, Nars and Touche Eclat are the two I might try.
I love YSL’s Touché Eclat, its just so pricey. Maybelline and Revlon have good budget friendly options.
Some of them are quite pricey.
I only use concealer every now and then.
As always the ladies are so lovely
so true Normap
No haven’t tried nothing these women/men use. Atm stopped using base makeup as my skin is needing some rest and loving it! Still mascara and lippy, yes =)
Hard to find the ‘right’ concealer.
I would love to try the Beautyblender concealer. Love the packaging.
I’ve used the YSL concealer, it was years ago and I can’t really remember what I thought. Must not made an impact on me, lol
I’ve used the Tarte concealer before but currently not using a concealer.
I’ve only tried one on the list
Some of those concealers are so pricey – & they use them on their whole face as their foundation! Yikes!
I seldom get dark circles, so I only use concealer if I have a zit.
I love touche éclat by YSL (can get it on sale sometimes via Adore Beauty) and BareMinerals for little spots.
My sister likes to use Clé de Peau Beauté’s Concealer as foundation. I have it too but find it doesn’t work as well as an actual foundation.
Great read, they look great. I rarely use a concealer.
Some of the concealers look lovely. I used them heaps years ago and really need to start again. Not sure which one is the best now.
The Nars one is quite more affordable than I thought.
I really like my Clarins concealer which works nicely under the eyes!
Some very Excellent Concealers at the moment I am using Rimmel London Multi-Task Concealer it’s absolutely amazing.
Not tried any of these.
I’ve only used the YSL but its not good for dark circles
Some good recommendations. I would like to try the Nars. It’s more affordable than some of the others.
I’m currently using Revlon, Maybelline and Bourjois.
Glad they show the prices underneath the item. I always did want to try the YSL one but too expensive for me. I find using my Maybelline, McCoBeauty work just as well. I did see Trinny has bought out a new concealer and eye serum in 1, so was wondering what that would be like and price also.
I also find these items pretty expensive. But still lovely
I use 4 different concealers for different parts of my face, none of them this expensive though lol. Would love to try the YSL.
I haven’t used a concealer in years, I could really do with some help with my under eye circles, perhaps I need to try one of these
Would love to try the RMS one sounds good
I’ve tried the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer & that’s on my wishlist. Got my eye on 2 different shades (one for the undereye, one for everywhere else).
Have since bought those 2 shades (Affogato & Vanilla, FYI) & I love them!
I haven’t tried these lovely Concealers, but I can’t live without it!
I need a good concealer, but I’m so bad at using them well.
I haven’t heard of most of these brands before, bar Neutrogena
I have tried Touche Eclat in the past, but at the moment I’m using a concealer from Clinique.
It always surprises me how many brands there are and I’ve usually not tried any of them. 😀
I would try the NYX one
I must say they are all lovely but I do think Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is so lucky to have a face that can stand up to having her hair pulled straight back like she has
I would try rms one. Not using any atm
Forever and always YSL’s Touché Eclat.
I’m not using concealer too often.
Great article! Currently I’m loviing the EA one – it’s just the perfect colour!
I love the YSL one. Wish it was cheaper.
Havent heard of Bethenny Frankel but never watch realty TV so maybe this is why
i am a sucker when it comes to concealer must try!!!!
i wander how expensive they are though
i will probably get some for my birthday
Im not using one at all at the moment.
My Sunsense Invisible tint is all im using and just perfect for work where I dont really want to look too made up.
Thanks Beautyheaven for an article on Concealers. Last time I asked a question about what concealers to use I was reported for Spam. Very upseting. Just asking for help. At least here are some I can try.
