These highlighting drops are seriously lit

I have a confession: I’m addicted to highlighter. Even if I’m only getting by on one or two hours of sleep, a quick swipe of highlighter on top of my cheekbones can have me looking all glowy and refreshed in seconds. It’s magic! So when the Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops landed on my desk, I was more than happy to try it out.

First of all, liquid highlighters are fast becoming my favourite kind of highlighter. Why? Because you can use them in two ways. You can mix the product in with your foundation for a luminous, but natural looking finish, or you can use your fingers to dab a small amount of product on top of your cheekbones. To really test the product, I used the Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops in the shade Beam Me Up, both ways.

Left: My foundation without the highlighter.  Right: My foundation with the highlighter mixed in.

The packaging of this product is fantastic as it makes it easy to apply just the right amount of highlighter. The dropper lets you control how many drops you use, which makes it easy to add it to your foundation without going overboard. When I first swatched the product, it looked really shiny. Almost too shiny. But as soon as I mixed it in with my foundation it blended in perfectly. The result was a luminous, natural looking base. Next, I applied the product to the top of my cheekbones, blending it in with my fingertips. It gave me such a gorgeous glow! If you’re looking for a versatile highlighter that will have your complexion looking seriously lit, you’ll love this product.
