Jennifer Lopez is officially launching J.Lo Beauty

If you had previously asked us to name one celebrity who we’d love to see a beauty line from in 2020, it would hands down have been Jennifer Lopez. And now, the dream is becoming a reality — we just have to wait until 2021. 

The queen of glow previously announced on August 24th via her Instagram that she’ll be launching J.Lo Beauty, alongside a signature luminescent and bronzed selfie. The coy caption read:

“Sunset glow… #JLoBeauty coming soon” 

Oooft. What a tease!

Perhaps a next-gen 3D gloss? ), but now the 51-year-old has revealed she’ll actually be launching skin care. And it’s all due to drop on the 1st January, 2021.”This isn’t just a passion project, it’s a 30-year dream,” J.Lo wrote alongside the announcement. “I can’t wait to share my skin care secrets with you!”In fact, when pressed about whether she’d ever launch her own brand back in 2018, Jennier told Refinery29: “I will be coming out with a skin care line. I’ve been working on it for a long time because I don’t want to put [just] anything out.”

“It’s going to be something that works. That’s what you can count on when my name is on something.”

Of course, the Hustlers star isn’t new to the cosmetics game entirely. J.Lo has previously collaborated with beauty brand Inglot on a line of mascaras, eyeshadows, bronzers and lipsticks, and her iconic fragrance Glow by J-Lo still remains a favourite spritz. 

The J.Lo Beauty skin care products are set to be stocked at jlobeauty.com and we’re hoping J.Lo will follow in the steps of Rihanna with a global launch, so we can get our mitts on it in Australia too.
