October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to show your support we’re asking you to stock up on beauty products and touch your boobs. Could be worse, right?
The boob-touching of it all likely makes perfect sense but where do the beauty products fit into it? Well, in support of Breast Cancer research, education and treatment, some of our favourite beauty brands have given their packaging a pink glow up and are donating a percentage of their earnings to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
So, if you were in need of a new fragrance for spring or are due for a new moisturiser. Here are the products that are giving back to Breast Cancer this month…
ghd Pink Collection
ghd’s TAKE CONTROL NOW collection acts as a reminder to check our breasts each we style our hair. For every purchase of a limited-edition pink tool, ghd will donate $20 towards funding breast cancer research.

Will you be buying any of these special beauty products?
It is so wonderful that so many well-known and loved brands are getting behind this important cause. I know Estée Lauder have been pioneers in the field of fundraising for breast cancer.
Happy to donate directly.

Me too
Me too.
Yep me too
I feel the same but every bit helps so if you are needing a product nice to know some of it is going to a great cause.
Can we please not call breasts “cherries”!? They’re breasts. Breast Cancer Awareness Month isn’t the time for cutesy nicknames.
Couldn’t agree more.

@Haylee_ you have made a really good point.
Nothing wrong with having breasts !!
Yeah I think it’s quite immature. There is nothing inappropriate about calling them what they are…breasts
Totally right. Why are we nicknaming them?
very gimmicky but I am a factual person and feel there is nothing wrong with calling breasts their proper name -It is just a part of our body
honestly they are important
I call it breastfeeding not Cherry feeding, call it for what they are!
It’s a serious topic and it’s making fun or light of the situation.
I totally agree.
I’m afraid that silly names or nicknames are all too often used incorrectly. I think breasts is the right word to use.
Agree totally !!
Jo Malone donating $50 from sales is amazing.
Yes, great to see.
love that
Never heard them called “cherries” before
Our Netball Club raised money for Breast Cancer this year and last. We wear pink socks.
That is so cool -Good on you
That’s great!
That sounds like fun and a great idea!
Good on you, Perthchick!
Excellent, that’s a wonderful thing you all do.
Cherries, silly name for breasts but a very important cause
I agree.
Very silly!
So good to see so many companies donating some of their profits to such an important cause.
So many products for a very good cause ( not sure about calling the breasts cherries thou).
Love the look of the Aveda hand cream.
I think it’s a lovely idea for some of the beauty companies to be involved like this. I do realise they’re looking at the bottom line for them but it could raise awareness where it might otherwise not.
Yes totally and if you are undecided on a product it is nice to know that these ones are helping others
righttt!!
I think raising awareness is equally important. Early detection increases survival rates.
Lovely idea .I buy sunscreen from the cancer society but would look at these too
Its a good cause to support but as someone else noted donating directly to can help if you dont want any of these items.
I feel like it’s more of a marketing tactic and personally I’d rather donate directly
True but at least they are looking to increase business and support a good cause-Win-Win
yes that is a good idea
Think I’d rather donate directly unless I needed the product.
A lot of people get lost in their busy lives and forget to donate so at least this gives a little more to help
It’s true, I don’t know what the statistics are but many of us forget to donate, it is another item on the to do list.
so true
I find cancer so overwhelming.
I hear you!
Oh I would love a couple of these lol have always loved ANR, the Jo Malone perfume sounds gorgeous, love peony in perfumes and hers always are stunning 💕 La mer…I am loving that they are doing 50 % of the profit towards donation thats awesome.
Estée Lauder Limited-Edition Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum 50ml
love this one
It’s great to see so many different brands supporting breast cancer awareness month. I will be purchasing a few of these limited edition items/products.
No, do not support these organisations after seeing what they do
What do you mean?
what do they do wrong Yohanna?
If it’s something I’d normally buy, I’ll pick the breast cancer version, but most of these are out of my price range.
Wonderful they are supporting this cause and helping to raise awareness, will keep an eye out for some of these products and others.
I find the breast cancer foundation is great at fund raising.
I wanted to say to our lovely community of women here, please check your breasts including your armpits for any new lumps or if you are not sure, please see a GP.
Early detection is the best prevention.
Yes I agree it has become so good that a lot of women are being helped earlier and earlier.
I love these collabs!
The Mavala pink polish is gorgeous
Yes stunning and fits my budget too.
I say this every year I see this sort of thing but I am not looking to help these large cosmetics companies with their tax write-off and watch them claim they donated X amount to charity when it is mostly comprised of consumer donations.
It’s a great initiative by these companies to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I won’t be buying these products. I’d rather donate directly so I know every cent is going to the cause.
This is such a great cause, I definitely will be participating in supporting this
I rather make a direct donation, most of the products are quite pricey, but I admire them for the initiative.
Love alll the pink and especially the Jo Malone London Limited-Edition Peony & Blush Suede Cologne 100ml. What a lovely bottle.
Buying special-edition pink products is good, but don’t forget your routine mammograms, ladies! I had mine earlier this year – all clear.
Yes it is so important and so easy to check with a mammogram.Don’t be lazy and get this done.
It is great to help a cause and such a good one.
Do not use these products listed , so no.
Love the packaging on these, so colourful.
Love the pink nail polish.
I would prefer to donate directly
Lovely look of products.
they sure are
Love the Mavala nail polish.
ooh yes me too
well i do love pink
I can’t believe it’s that time of the year again!
Great idea for a great cause.
