As you know, this is my first blog and before I begin I would sincerely like to thank you for voting me as the beautyheaven Blogstar.
I was completely chuffed because I was at a time when I was doubting myself, and you picked me up and made me realise what I have to offer!
So, for this I promise to reward you with the most engaging blogs that I hope you will get a good giggle out of (often at my own expense!).
I had a tremendous trip to Sydney where I was ridiculously spoiled and best of all, met the beautyheaven Team who are a bunch of gorgeous, down-to-earth, friendly women with a profound knowledge (almost obsessive!) of all things beauty. Hating me yet
The trouble is I now have the dreadful task of trialing and reviewing products sent up to me from beautyheaven. Someone has to do it!!
As you can imagine, when the postie arrived accompanied by a bh parcel I nearly jumped the poor man. Unwrapping my parcel revealed COVERGIRL LashBlast Length Mascara. Luckily, I hadn’t put my face on and promptly coated my lashes with it.
My initial reaction was that it wasn’t very dark and that it appeared as though very little had been applied. However, the long thin brush ensured every lash had been touched upon in one roll, and as the day went on its staying power impressed me – the more I looked, the more I loved its natural appearance. It’s water resistant but you don’t need sandpaper to remove it!
Mascara is my ‘stranded-on-a-desert-island’ one item staple and while I occasionally try out new additions to the market I always revert back to Maybelline New York Great Lash Mascara.
Unfortunately, not only did the good lord grace me with fair skin and freckles, but the lashes to match. So I like mine thick and dark, and on top and the bottom, (mind out of the gutter beauties – I’m still talking mascara here!).
In saying that, you may not like to lay it on as thick as me, and if you want natural, long-lasting soft mascara I can assure you that the COVERGIRL LashBlast Length is a worthy contender.
What importance do you place on Mascara and do you have a favourite that no newbie can shape up to?
Covergirl mascara’s are great
