Bethenny Frankel Has Declared These Blushes “Expensive But Worth It”

If there’s one thing we can always rely on from Bethenny Frankel, it’s (brutal) honesty. And while we love tuning in to hear her hot take on the latest pop culture scandal, it’s her beauty recommendations (and take downs) that really have us coming back for more.

Fresh off the heels of her drugstore cleanser recommendation, the entrepreneur is back with her latest TikTok segment: “expensive sh*t that’s worth it”.

And this time, she’s covering one of our favourite topics of all time — blush!

@bethennyfrankel Who’s excited for the Barbie movie?! The countdown is on so I’m trying out BLUSHES for you and these are AT THE LEVEL 💯 #expensivemakeup #rmsbeauty #anastasiabeverlyhills #rodialbeauty #blush #liquidblush #creamblush #makeuphaul #barbie #barbiecore @ABH Cosmetics @RMS Beauty @RODIAL BEAUTY @barbie ♬ original sound – Bethenny Frankel

Bethenny Frankel thinks these blushes are expensive but worth it

Anastasia Beverley Hills Blush Stick in ‘Bubblegum’

The verdict? “They’re great,” Bethenny told her 1.4 million followers.

“[Anastasia] had a moment where she was sort of sleeping on everything – she woke up.”

While the creamy consistency of the blush impressed the Skinnygirl founder, its built-in brush was neither here nor there for our TikToking queen. “They’re good in a pinch but they’re not my thing,” she said of the compact brush. And we’d have to agree.

Her parting advice? Don’t be fooled by the shade name. Though we would typically associate ‘bubblegum’ with a Barbie-esque, bright pink, Bethenny described this colour as being more of a “nice, summery peachy-pink tone”.

RMS BEAUTY “Re” Dimension Hydra Powder Blush

“This is the second blush I’ve bought from [RMS],” she said, applying the compact powder in the shade ‘Pomegranate Fizz’.

In terms of the product’s colour payoff, Bethenny said (in the most Bethenny way of all time), “It’s got pigment but not psychotic, you know what I mean? I don’t need to be stained and tattooed in blush for the rest of my life.”

  1. I had to google her. I don’t think any blush that is expensive but worth it. If I like the colour and it suits my complexion I’ll buy if it is a reasonable price (ie fits my budget at the time).

  2. I was originally going to comment don’t buy expensive blush drops – there are so many affordable options on the market and no one can tell what brand a blush is by on someone’s face. However, don’t sleep on RMS BEAUTY “Re” Dimension Hydra Powder Blushes. I own every shade and they are well worth the money. DON’T BUY THEM FROM MECCA – they go on sale on SpaceNK and you can also buy them cheaper if you get one compact and get the other shades as refills and pop them in and out. This is what I do. I don’t recommend these blushes lightly – they are definitely worth the money.
