Sick of wearing heavy foundation that ends up making your skin feel like it’s been stripped of all moisture? We feel you. That’s why we’ve gone on a hunt to find the best of all worlds. Yep, we’re talking tinted moisturiser.
And no, these skin-perfecting, ultra-hydrating formulas aren’t the classics from years gone by that end up oxidising to a frightful shade of orange or worse still, smeared and missing in action from your face. Nope, these new formulas are as good as the real deal (AKA foundation) but with all the nourishing hydrating benefits of a moisturiser.
We’ve actually found that a lot of these tinted moisturisers are actually triple threats. Yep, coverage, moisture and sun-protection. These clever tubes are able to even work in a high dose of SPF to provide you with step one of your sun protection routine — followed by reapplication, protective clothing and keeping out of the sun, of course. Always make sure to follow directions for use.
So, let’s see what these game-changing formulas have to offer; here are the top tinted moisturisers to shop…

Is tinted moisturiser good for mature skin?
If you’re finding that your usual foundation is sinking into your skin in a less than ideal way (read: highlighting fine lines) then it’s time you made the switch to a tinted moisturiser. Yep, you’ll still get all the skin-perfecting goodness of a tint, but with the added benefit of some seriously hydrating ingredients. Basically, tinted moisturiser works wonders for mature skin.

Do you wear tinted moisturiser? Would you try one of these?
I would love to try these.I don’t like heavy makeup.
I dont either and find a tinted moisturiser good.
I prefer a natural look, those moisturizers look like a good alternative.
Yes they give a light cover and moisturise -What’s not to love.
I really like the idea of a tinted moisuriser, it saves once step in the beauty routine.
I’m looking for a good tinted moisturiser, but don’t think I’ve tried any of these.
I’ve only tried the one from LRP
I love a tinted moisturiser and I’m eager to try a couple of the mentioned ones.
some lovely products now with a little colour
Love using tinted moisturisers on an everyday basis. My favourite one at the moment is one by Kevin Aucoin as it’s super light, hydrating, which makes it perfect for mature skin, and gives a hint of colour so you don’t feel washed out.
La Roche Posay’s tinted moisturizer with 50 SPF factor is a winner
I’ve never tried one, but I am more of a powder than liquid foundation gal.
I use tinted moisturiser when I’m not wanting to go full makeup, its great
Thanks for the tip. Will give it a go.
These look great to use everyday.
I didn’t know LRP came in tinted! I’ve repurchased IZ tinted for years. I want to try that Natio one – also Aussie-made! ♥
I’ve been finding that a tinted moisturiser is much easier towear than foundation.
Hmm phasing out LRP sunscreens for Asian sunscreens. More cosmetically elegant and light.
I had no idea Jojoba Company had a tinted moisturiser. I’ll definitely check that out. Thanks for the helpful article.
I need to find one that’s suitable for oily and acne prone skin
So many of these type of products coming out now, its great
Some good ones here. I tend to use tinted moisturizer in summer
I really like the light tinted moisturisers especially when traveling and applying make up everyday it’s just a lot better for the skin.
I have’nt found a tinted moisturiser that I really like yet.
I am always looking for a good tinted moisturizer. Might give Nude by Nature Hydra Serum Tinted Skin Perfector a try.
