I love orange lipsticks. Lately ive been wearing a lot of mauve/pinks but this article has me thinking about diving into my collection and fishing out my Oranges 🙂
I do find orange ones really flattering but I only apply them really really really lightly because I'm not into brights for myself. I suppose you could call I a 'super swipe' because hardly any pigment needs to be on my lips if it's a brighter colour.. It kind of gives my lips a glow rather than a colour.

Completely agree mis8. Orange is one of those hues that really doesn't suit me, regardless of whether it's makeup or clothing. If I were to wear coral, it'd have to be a really pink-toned coral, otherwise my rather cool complexion can't handle it. (Wish it could though.) Pinks, berries, plums, blue-based & true reds all the way for me.
I am so pleased I am always on the look out for an orangey coloured lipsticks, pinks ans red just look hideous on me. Not working tommoz, might have to hit the shops before we are all in lockdown:)
I wear oranges all the dang time! I love to use an orange liptint in my everyday makeup looks.
Love corally orange. Not too warm. And have one that is almost used up!
Bright orange does not look good on me. I look better wearing a colour that is more a brown orange like terracotta.
Not a big fan of orange , doesn't suit me.
Orange lipstick doesn’t suit me. I prefer rosy pinks or nude pinks.
Orange Lipstick really doesn't suit me prefer pinks or Rose colours mixed with beige or light browns.
The Too Faced lippy shade is divine.
Orange doesn't suit me on my lips but I love it as a summer nail polish colour.
I love orange
I don't know if I could wear a pure orange colour but an orange red colour would probably look better

Orange does not work that well on my lips
I'm definitely not an orange lippy wearer, although when an MUA did a coral shade for me they did find one that looked good.
I was surprised to find orange lipstick suited me really well. I didn’t think it would, but I’m glad I tried – I love orange lipstick!
Not sure I could pull this look off… I am a redhead… But maybe that YSL or Inika?? Wish I could. I think it makes teeth look whiter?

Orange lipstick just doesn't suit my complexion.
Yay! I love orange lipstick, been wearing orange/coral lippie for years
I do quite like orange lipsticks. Not a shade I reach for often, though
I have loved Orange Lipstick for years. Unfortunately it does't work with my skin tone.
Not a colour that suits me.
I have a yellow tones skin so orange lippie doesn't suit me. I need cool pinks and reds
Not a tonal range I could wear.
I would love to try the Inika lipstick in Cherry Blossom, love the shade and satin finish.
So pretty! I wonder if orange would suit my skintone.
I love orange lipstick though I don't like the colour anywhere else. It really brightens the face
Orange is too bright for me and doesn't suit my skin tone. I like a more subdued colour.
I love all the shades and orange is the new black as they say haha. Lovely article.
I have a Marc Jacobs orange lipstick but I really think orange is a no no for my complexion.
Orange = Nope! Even though it looks really good on me it is just not a colour I like. I like it even less than red!

I love lipstick , but orange is not for me …….
I really don't like orange lipstick on me, it makes my teeth (and my fair skin) look yellow.
I love the paler peachy ones, i don't like dark oranges on me. The YSL one looks great as does the Bobbi Brown and Inika
Tried it and thought it be great but orange looked terrible on me.
I love these shades
Not my colour – give me a red any day
Orange lippy is a bit too 'Ita Buttrose' for me.
"Amazing for enhancing the warm undertones in your skin, orange hues are universally flattering."
I disagree. I have a very cool complexion & orange looks terrible on me. I'll stick with the classic reds.

Unfortunately I am not a fan of orange lipsticks.
Agreed mis8. Orange is the one colour I'm positive never looks good on me.

I love an orange vibrant lippy in Autumn. Goes with so much makeup wise.
