While foundations might be an acquired taste, concealers are for everyone. Whether you’re using a pin-sized dose to brighten dark circles, dotting it over your face to even out pigmentation or you’re being heavy-handed thanks to the breakout on your chin, a concealer has got to be a desert island product for nearly every makeup wearer. At the very least it’s in the top four.
As we know, with high demand comes a great variety of products available. And while we love being spoilt for choice, it can make the decision process absolute chaos. That’s exactly why we’ve condensed your options down to eight high performing concealers, along with who they’re best suited for and what kind of finish you can expect.

Have you tried any of these concealers? If not, which is your favourite?
So agree with this list. On a budget the Bourjois and Rimmel are winners. Best overall for under the eyes the Tarte and YSL. NARS is a great all rounder. AS an ex MUA,I'm a little obsessed with concealer. They make such a difference to the skin tone, texture and overall appearance .
BareMinerals Bare Skin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer is the BEST concealer I’ve ever used.
Tarte Shape Tape definitely lives up to the hype! I also love Coverfx Powerplay
My holy grail concealer is the Urban Decay Naked concealer. A couple of BH members recommended it to me actually!
Rimmel Wake me up is my favourite for brightening my dark circles under my eyes.
I don’t use concealer often so I’d have to say the YSL Touché Eclait is my fave.
I like the maybelline fit me concealer but maybelline age rewind is my absolute favourite.
Definitely need to try some of these concealers for sure they would make a remarkable difference to my makeup routine.
Love to try some of those!
I like the tarte shape tape concealer.
I thought the YSL Touche Eclat was not considered a traditional concealer. I've been using the MAC studio finish for ages and love it.
Mine ones are not on the list. As I do not conceal, I just like products that enhance and blur, but not cover. So my skin is still my skin, not mask on it. Becca brightening cream thingy in the pot, pinkish….adore! Also NBN perfecting concealer. Both eliminate my only prob area: inner semicircle blue/purple, from nose-bridge a bit down and up. Both sooo brightening and great for thin skin
I do like bo-ING and haha with the industrial part in the name
Have yet to find a concealer which works for me.
I don't use much concealer at all. Only last week while out exploring beauty products I looked at the Bourjois and the YSL concealers so maybe I'll have to take a second look.
I want to try them all
I know Cle De Peau does really good ones too
I haven't tried any of these. I use one from Clinique.
This is probably crazy to a lot of people but I've not tried the tarte shape tape yetttt omggg!! I need to I know
I don't use or have a favourite concealer. I'd probably go with the YSL in this list
My concealer that works for me is Laura Mercier which I have been using for years. Previously many concealers just did not work. At present I don't need to get a new one but will consider the recommendations by BH members.
I dont really have a favorite as such. I guess I havent stumbled across the one that has wowed me yet. Love the sound of the benefit one…."Industrial Strength"…LOL
I can't say I really use concealer much or ever really found one that works for me. They usually end up not looking natural on me and a bit sick looking, guess I am not doing it right
The YSL is great as it doesn't intensify lines
YSL looks light a winner.
Good to know Shop A Everyday. Thanks.
Some really great ones on here…
I like all of these options
I have not tried a single one of these, clearly under a rock.
Can't believe I have never tried Touche Eclat!
The list is on point.. of these I absolutely love Shape Tape and Maybelline Fit Me
I have the Tarte I think it is overhyped and priced too. It provides great coverage but not long-lasting.
Neither have I! I've heard mixed reviews about Shape Tape though – some praise it like it's the second coming of Jesus, other people think it's overrated.
I have not tried any of these either, I think a few of them would really blow my budget.
Concealer is my favourite part of the makeup process and so was really hoping to see two of my faves in there: mine that made the cut were Rimmel Lasting Radiance and Maybelline Fit Me.
Yep MAC is amazing! The only one I use these days
There is a couple of concealers I would not mind trying, It is a great range.
maybelline fit me is so bloody good, along with shape tape and the rimmell! all wonderful concealers!
I have tried a lot of concealers and quite a few on this list. Tarte Shape Tape has the highest coverage but is also quite matte so have to be careful with my dry skin. The bareMinerals BareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer is my current everyday concealer as it is really nice for my dry skin and provides a more natural look (works better for me as I generally don't wear foundation); it is much more thin and creamy – those with oily skin beware, will need to be set well.
I love M.A.C Studio Fix 24-Hour Concealer and L'ORÉAL PARIS True Match Concealer ! Unfortunately, the Rimmel concealer didn't work on me maybe because i have combination skin. I would love to try out the tarte concealer in the near future.
I like the sound of the MAC conceal as I've read some really good reviews and I'm yet to find my HG concealer. I've tried the YSL and hated it!
I use the Maybelline Fit Me one and it's great , love it!
These actually sound great – got to put them on my shopping list 😉
I wish there was a review section for the too faced born this way concealer so I can provide a review for it. If you can get the right tone match for your skin with this concealer you have got yourself one of the best. I have to admit I initially had a love hate relationship with it. But it's a fantastic concealer and you get sooo much product in the one tube lasting for a really long time
I recently bought a mini size version of Shape Tape to see what all the fuss is about with the product, but I have only tried it once (I do not use concealer very often).
I watched a great dupe review video and it suggested that Revolution Conceal and Define concealer was a great swap for the Tarte Shape Tape concealer.
My concealer isn't listed here. I only use it when I've got a zit.
I haven't tried any of these. I use one from Clinique.
Lovely brands to try.
I do like the review on the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer &
the product ingredients & a budget price – Christmas will be on the
doorstep same thing small that go's a long way. 🙂
