What is the best concealer for puffy eyes?
The best concealer for puffy eyes combines depuffing ingredients and colour correctors to simultaneously cover the puffiness and help to minimise the appearance of future puffiness over time. Ingredients such as caffeine and green tea extract are excellent at encouraging blood flow, which aids in depuffing and minimising the appearance of dark circles. Concealers with brightening pigments or or ingredients such as vitamin C are also fantastic options.
How do you hide puffy eyes with concealer?
We recommend using a light hand when applying concealer to puffy under-eyes, as too much product will accentuate fine lines and look cakey. Instead, dispense a small amount of product onto the back of your hand, and using a concealer brush or the pad of your finger, gently pat and melt the concealer into your skin. If you have dark circles too, try applying a concealer shade with a pink undertone to the darkest portions of your under eyes, wait a few minutes for the product to set, and then blend a lighter shade of concealer on the outer corners of the eyes in an upwards motion.

I rarely use concealer.
I perpetually hear good things about the Maybelline concealer.
yes I have too.
Thankfully I don’t have puffy eyes
Haven’t tried any of these, but any of them would be hard pressed to beat Origins No Puffery eye cream. That stuff is the absolute bomb.
I need all of these fast. I’ve seen the Maybelline one but I will look out for the others.
Yes some nice options to try.
Yes some good choices.
Yes I fancy the Maybeline one as well. will be very easy to pick up (if they have stock) from Woolies.
These all look like worth trying
Luckily I don’t have puffy eyes, just dark circles 🙁
These would work for dark circles too
I don’t have puffy eyes but the slight dark circles drive me crazy.
I like the idea of the NYX concealer, I’ve never used this brand before but keen to see how well it works.
I’ve been using the Maybelline concealer for a long time now and really love it. Very easy to use and great as a concealer.
good to know -thanks
This is something i needed to read, some really good points in there. I always get creases under my eyes
Yes I do too
I am really interested in this article because I am wanting some concealer for dark rings under my eyes.
I need a good concealer and the skills to use it.
I like the look of the Max Factor Miracle Pure Concealer.
Would love to try the NYX one
I’m wary of using any product except moisturizer on this delicate area
Great suggestions here.
Instant Age Rewind Eraser is excellent. You can also get darker shades and use it as contour
I am using a Dior one now, its lasting forever
