Big news in beauty
- As part of ghd‘s TAKE CONTROL NOW campaign (which aims to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation), ghd have released a limited-edition range of pink heat tools. With the purchase of any styling tool from the Pink Collection, ghd will donate $20 to the NBCF to support breast cancer research. See the collection, here.
- New Zealand skin care brand, essano, have announced Kiwi model, Rachel Hunter, as their newest ambassador. Speaking proudly of the partnership, Rachel said, “I remember the first time I saw essano. I was at home filming New Zealand’s Got Talent and was wandering through my local New World. [And] was drawn to the Rosehip and the pink packaging. I was happy to see a natural, homegrown, premium Rosehip Oil that was accessible to everyone.”
- To celebrate this year’s International Lipstick Day, Revlon has partnered with the Delta Goodrem Foundation and Chemist Warehouse. With the purchase of any Super Lustrous Lipstick between July 7th and August 8th, $2 of your purchase will be donated straight to the Look Good Feel Better foundation.
- For the first time in 16 years, muk Haircare have revamped their look and undergone a complete packaging redesign. The new look includes the original colour palette however, with one added pastel tone. Plus, new shampoo and conditioner bottles that are easily distinguished from one another. Described by the brand as being “subtle, modern and identifiable” – we can’t wait to check it out!

Which of these new product launches are you excited to try?
I recently came across Glasshouse Fragrances Humidor Collection, however I was drawn to their ‘After hours’ candle (sweet cigar and spiced rum).
So many great deals.
I would love a pink ghd hair tool but they are still fairly $$.
None of these are relevant to me, buy I’m happy to hear Rachel Hunter is going to be Essano brand ambassador.

I think the Breast Cancer Foundation is one of the best at getting their message across and getting people to buy products that give a donation back to them.

I do not use candles…but I would use Cherry Tobacco & Rich Woods one =D (sounds super delish!)

I’m always surprised to see tobacco as a fragrance note – doesn’t it smell like an ashtray?

I’ve smelt that note in perfume before & whilst it smells smoky, it doesn’t remind me of an ashtray.
