With red carpets being few and far between these days, our fave celebs have been swapping out head-to-toe glam for makeup-free, bare faces.
And as much as we love fawning over a star-studded event or the wild and wacky Met Gala beauty looks, there’s something quite humbling about seeing an A-lister hanging at home looking like, well, us.
Ok, maybe not exactly like us. Let’s face it, makeup or no makeup, supermodels are still supermodels.

There’s no better advertisement for a skin care line than the brand founder’s crystal clear complexion. Particularly when said founder is Jennifer Lopez herself. During a recent Instagram tutorial, JLo showed her followers exactly how to nail a “makeup-free @JLoBeauty glow” — using nothing but the Marry Me actresses own products, of course.

With skin as glowing and brows as fluffy, why would you ever wear makeup? Salma gave her Instagram followers a glimpse into her relaxing weekend as she wished her followers a “Happy Sunday!!! Feliz domingo!!!!” The Frida actress even made sure to hashtag “no makeup” just in case anyone suspected a light veil of concealer or wash of lippy.

After a near two month Instagram hiatus, Adele treated her 49.9 million followers to a series of makeup-free photos to mark her 34th birthday. The bare-faced images were captioned: “what a difference a year makes! If time keeps healing and smoothing out all the creases in my life like it does as the years fly by, then I can’t wait to be 60! I’ve never been happier! So many lessons, so many blessings to be grateful for. This is 34, and I love it here! Thank you for the birthday love as always.”

They look lovely but I think it's important to remember that these people have access to skin and cosmetic treatments whenever they want. Even if they are makeup free, they're certainly not botox, filler or plastic surgery free.
Good for them but personally I would have preferred to see a gallery of women who are truly natural and makeup free. Regardless of imperfections, acceptance should be celebrated.

Yeh I love that they can look quite 'basic' (although good basic for sure!) so it really shows that personality really is the key to their success and not their looks. (Well, maybe a bit of both combined in a lot of cases!) but they can look like anyone else around the local area really! (if they try and just be completely natural)
I love learning about people's ancestral heritage – so I'd really love to learn what Cindy's is!

I love that most of them have a fair bit of pigmentation to their skin, which is pretty much unavoidable as we age. For all the products that promise to eliminate pigmentation, if the celebs haven’t found the miracle cure, it’s probably not out there – which takes a lot of the pressure off the rest of us.

Jessica Biel looks absolutely amazing, still beautiful without makeup, Heidi Klum and Eva Longoria still look fabulous. Also one Celebrity not mentioned and she always looks beautiful is Jennifer Lopez.
Celebrities can buy the very best of Skincare Products and they can afford to have Fillers and Botox as well.

They are experts in selfies, naturally photogenic for sure =D obviously beautiful and yes, love makeup free photos. They show more character and depth of a person.
