After gaining 30 kilograms during her pregnancy last year, Tiff is unapologetic about taking her time to lose the baby weight and take care of her body – and she doesn’t deny herself of the foods she loves. “Life isn’t about restrictions, it’s about enjoying everything in moderation,” she says. “I also have a three hour reset rule – had a bit of a binge? That’s okay! Reset after three hours and treat it as a new day, not an opportunity to write the whole day off.”
Here at beautyheaven, we love Tiff’s positive attitude and think she’s a wonderful inspiration for women – especially to all the gorgeous mothers out there. So we couldn’t resist taking a peek at Tiff’s day on a plate to find out what she eats to fuel her body.
Breakfast

“I like to start my day with a herbal tea (I like green) but before I do anything, I do a coconut oil pull for 10 mins and pull some funny faces at my baby son Arnie at the same time, followed by apple cider vinegar mixed in with some water to give myself the best start to my day. BA (Before Arnie) I would wake up at 5am, go for a run and come back for 7am to eat my breaky. Nowadays it’s in between nappies and feeds, but I generally get there by 830am! Depending on the kind of day I’m having will depend on how I fuel my body. If I know I have an intense day of filming workouts for my program then I’ll make sure I’m eating wholegrain carbs and lots of protein to keep me going and going like the energizer bunny. I can’t go past my fave TIFFXO Cherry Ripe Smoothie for when I need something on the go or my Breakfast Hash is perfect for a heartier breakfast.”
Snacks

“If I know it’s a day of working in front of a screen, I make sure I have a lot of brain-friendly snacks near me, less carbs, more protein, to help keep the brain ticking. It’s usually the afternoon when I need an extra bit of pep. If I’m working, I try to have easy snacks I can eat on the go – veggie sticks with hummus, a tin of tuna, apples and lots of green tea! I know if I’m heading to the Dojang, I try and have nutritious wholegrain carbs to help give me energy. I usually have a small bowl of blueberries and banana with cottage cheese, flaxseed oil, walnuts and fibre toppers. Or, a handful of pumpkin seeds or flaxseeds with two cups of blueberries and natural Greek yoghurt. Whenever I need a bit of snack info, I just head straight to my TIFFXO planner for some inspo. My Carrot Date and Oat Raw Energy Bars are good for that extra pep. I aim for high quality protein after a training session to help repair muscles – my Mini Mushroom Frittatas or Smoked Salmon Roulade is the perfect thing to help refuel.”
Lunch

“I generally try to eat lunch at about 1:30pm most days. I find having set meal times for the day helps with keeping me on task – both life and health related! I love something quick and easy for lunch that I know will keep me fuelled for my busy arvo ahead. Salads with protein and lots of greens, wraps or my Quinoa Chickpea Bowl are all guaranteed to keep me full of the good stuff so I can keep doing the fun stuff (peek-a-boo Arnie!). If I know I have a busy day ahead, I prepare our Glow Bowl the night before – just a simple quinoa-based salad tossed with natural yoghurt, blueberries and walnuts (and some hard-boiled eggs for protein!)
Dinner

“Dinner is generally the last stop in the Hall house – after any Taekwondo classes or Dojang sessions, after the little one has been washed and fed is then my time for dinner. I find my Sunday Meal Prep means it’s very easy to find something wholesome and healthy to help me recover from my day. I keep it simple with grilled salmon and green veg or I’m loving the Beef Fajita Bowl or the Salmon Patties with Broad Bean Salad. So tasty!”
Dessert

“Desserts are generally considered a going out or special occasion treat in my house. That said, I can’t really go past my Banana Nut Soft Serve because it’s basically just frozen bananas with some nut paste blended – easy, yum and fixes that dessert niggle! And my TIFFXO Superfood (Raw Cacao) Hot Chocolate helps keep those sweet cravings at bay during the day. I almost always have a stash handy of our Date & Quinoa energy balls (I can freeze them), or our Chocolate Trail Mix.”
