The 3-Part Self-Care Ritual Tia Mowry Swears By

Take it from us because we’ve spent a long time trying to perfect the art of the self-care routine: when we saw Tia Mowry’s we quickly realised that ours was put to shame. And that’s not a bad thing, but speaking with Allure the star was quick to note that her bathroom is “one of [her] favourite spaces in [her] home”.

And hey, we love the idea of turning your own bathroom into a spa-like environment. So we’re taking a page out of Tia’s book and taking a bit of inspo from her rituals…

Tia Mowry Self-Care Rituals

Taking us through the incredibly beautiful space, Tia calls her bathroom a “very comfortable, warm space” and we’d have to agree. But what got us hooked was her love to unwind in a bath. Because let’s be real, a really good bath can basically fix all our problems.

Well, not quite, but it certainly helps. We’ll come back to the luscious bubbles in a min, but first, we’ve got to comment on steps two and three of the routine.

Okay, so lighting a candle is a totally normal thing to do when it comes to creating a bath soaking ritual. What we weren’t expecting, however, was for the candle to cost $780. Yep, you read that right. Tia lit the Le Labo Santal 26 Large Concrete Candle ($780 at Le Labo Fragrances), which we’re sure smells incredible, and looks amazing, but how much does it cost?!

The next step you’re either totally behind, or you just can’t quite grasp it. When she hops into the bath, Tia wants a bowl of energy cleansing sage smudge sticks and palo santos bundles right next to her, to help “clean out the negative energy and bring good energy back in”. A must-have addition to your weekly shop? We’ll leave that up to you, but we are sure you’re going to love her fave bubble bath…

L’Occitane Lavender Foaming Bath

If you like to take a soak in the tub to unwind and relax, why not add in an aromatherapy element to truly set your senses alight? Enter L’Occitane Lavender Foaming Bath. And boy, does this baby foam. It’s the reason Tia loves the gorgeous liquid, because of all the “bubbles it brings”.

So, if sinking into a cloud-like bath, brimming in luscious lavender scents is what you’re after, then this skin-smoothing, nourishing foam is what you need to add to your bath time ritual. In Tia’s own words “merci beaucoup”.

Key Features:

  • Formulated with P.D.O. lavender essential oil from Haute-Provence
