Climbing stairs is an exercise that can be done anytime, anywhere. Itis such a fabulous workout because it is a combination of cardiovascular training, thus burning fat and depleting calories, but also aneffective toning and sculpting exercise for your buttocks, thighs,calves.
Concentrate on holding in your core and stomach toisometrically tone your abs then swing your arms as you climb to also create a workout for your chest, back and arms. Change your tempo byclimbing single steps, then doubling up or jogging, adding sprinting and walking combinations. The longer the set of stairs the faster the results.
