ICYMI Sam Frost and her fiancé Jordie Hansen welcomed their first baby in March this year. Shortly after his birth, Theodore Paul Frost-Hansen AKA ‘Ted’ was introduced to Instagram as the couple wrote “there are no words to describe how much we love you.”
And while the reality duo got their picture-perfect ending, Sam has recently shared that the journey to get there wasn’t exactly a walk in the park.
Sam Frost’s thoughts on her pregnancy and motherhood
“I found pregnancy really difficult,” she told Confidential. However, luckily for the new parents, the tricky nine month lead up didn’t linger once the baby arrived. “I am actually a little more relaxed than I thought,” Sam said of her role as a new mum.
In fact, it sounds like she has a strong handle on motherhood in general. “He is honestly a dream baby, he is so happy, he is so chilled, he laughs all the time and thinks I am the greatest person in life,” she said. Um, cute.
As for any wedding plans? Since fronting the expense of a newborn and a new house, a big event to celebrate their nuptials has taken a backseat. “To be honest, I’m the one putting the brakes on it,” The Bachelorette star told The Morning Show.
“We will eventually but I think that at the moment our focus is little Teddy.”

Have you ever been pregnant? How was your experience?
Maybe a hard 9 months means a placid happy baby?
lol not always! 😀
I had a baby that wanted to get out early, wandered away as a toddler and continued her wandering ways right up to this day! Personality seems to stay the same right through from conception. I even felt her kicking before the books said I was meant to feel her kicking!
Can’t comment from personal experience, some of my family and friends have had a tough time while others have found it relatively easy.
You have to deal with cards that are played same as rest of life.
Did this beautiful couple meet on tv show? nooooo
I don’t know, I’ve so lost track of TV this year
It’s been challenging and super rewarding in the same time.
What a gorgeous family. Wishing them lots of happy, good times ahead.
They are so cute together!
Yes and she has her priorities’ right with little Teddy coming first at this time.
Teddy is such a cute nickname.
i was told a sick mummy equals a very healthy baby
I was always healthy during both my pregnancies and had two healthy babies
It’s nice to hear an honest opinion on pregnancy
I had one easy experience and a second one with problems but end result so worth it.
Yes, my easy dream baby was content as a toddler and is so easy going as an adult. She also was born on the day she was ‘meant’ to be born.
I gave birth 9 months ago now, it wasn’t so bad I’ve heard people have had worse experiences so I’m thankful it wasn’t a hard or scary time for me
Women should be honest about difficult pregnancies. It’s not talked about enough.
Pregnancy was terrible for me both times too. Sick for the first 24 weeks and sick during labour.
I’ve been pregnant twice, and had really bad morning sickness.
I had nausea but not sickness, it stopped on the end of the 12th week with each pregnancy exactly! Weird! Nausea was like motion sickness for me each time.
Never been pregnant and honestly don’t know if I could handle it!
women are a tough breed and seem to be created to handle it – it’s sort of out of our hands but our bodies are amazing in their design! I bet you would be amazing yourself!
Even when you really want to be pregnant, it can be difficult for a host of reasons. I was thrilled to be pregnant but that didn’t make it easy.
Nope. Got a ready made when I met hubby.
I’m happily childfree by choice.
I went through 3 pregnancies.I know it is challenging time for every mom.
I had three too! and then I thought, that’s enough, three is plenty for me!
Not much detail there!
Good to read she’s enjoying being a mum
Pregnancy is a battle, currently almost 30 weeks and so ready for the next 10 to be over 😂
