Meghan Markle is no stranger to the wellness industry. In fact, in her years before marrying Prince Harry and becoming the Duchess of Sussex, she actually ran the health and lifestyle blog The Tig (which is still active if you ever want to have a look). And now, re-entering the wellness industry, Meghan is back to where it all began. Albeit in a slightly different capacity, as an investor to the supplement company: Clevr Blends.
Who are Clevr?
The 100 per cent plant-based supplement company, Clevr, sell a range of mushroom-powered coffee powders called ‘SuperLattes’. Each supplement powder has been formulated with probiotics, antioxidants and antigens including lion’s maine and reishi, both of which work to boost the immune system and cognitive function while helping to minimise anxiety and fatigue.
Each powder works as an addition to your daily smoothie or coffee and is slated by the brand to ease stress and sharpen focus without the associated crash that comes with regular caffeinated coffee.
As you might’ve expected, the clevr range is proudly 100 per cent vegan. Why is this important to note? Over the years Meghan has been an advocate for following a vegan diet, though those who have avidly followed the Duchess of Sussex over the years know that she now follows what is called a “flexitarian” diet.
Meaning? She follows a predominately plant-based diet, though does eat meat on occasion. During an interview with Best Health, Meghan revealed how she “[tries] to eat vegan during the week and then have a little bit more flexibility with what I dig into on the weekends.”
And for those who can cast their minds back to Meghan and Harry’s sit down with Oprah, you might recall a certain roast chicken dinner that she recalled eating the night Prince Harry proposed.
Where can we purchase a Clevr SuperLatte?
At the moment, Clevr only ships within the US, UK and Canada. So, if you’re wanting to incorporate a nutritious mushroom-based latte here in Aus, you might have to wait a little longer. Though, with backing from Meghan and a mega-fan in Oprah Winfrey, we have a feeling we’ll be seeing and hearing a lot more from this brand in the near future.
In the meantime, here are a couple of supplement products that we recommend for similar immune-boosting benefits…
Superfoods Australia 6 Mushroom Extract Elixir
Built with similar ingredients to the Clevr Blends mix, we recommend this as the next best thing to the SuperLatte.

What do you think of adding a mushroom powder to your morning coffee? Would you like to try it?
I wonder if the mushroom powder changes the flavour of the coffee
Yeah that’s a really good point
Not something I’m interested in.
It doesn’t sound appealing to me.No thanks.
I love reading up about functional mushrooms, can’t wait for this to be available in Australia
Yeah me too – I would totally try one. Byron bay may be the first place to get these by the sounds – or something similar!
Not for me, an interesting idea though
I would try it. 😊
I’ll go to that cafe with you 🙂
I might try it but most of those (decent) mushroom products are very expensive – so not budget friendly for frequent use
I will stay away from these for sure. Anything from fungus family is toxic for my body.
I also eat plant based, whole foods mostly raw (fungus are not plants though). There is no such a thing as a flexeterian. You eat either everything (so she is just an omnivore) or just from plant and fungus kingdom. Vegans are caring for all animals (it’s not a diet), they do not wear them (shoes, bags from leather etc), they do not exploit them (visiting zoos, those water animal prisons etc). She is definitely not vegan (I am not either) or plant based.
I agree. Though mushrooms can be good for some people but only if organic.
😂flexeterian. Love it when celebrities pick and choose when they are vegetarian/vegan.
Exactly. Stop pretending to be trendy. As “veganism” seems to be nowadays. And “sustainable”.
Not interested. I won’t be trying this one.
Not a product I could see myself trying.
I want to try a latte! Sounds great!!
As much as I hate celeb products, I think mushrooms are incredibly nutritious. I’ve bought mushroom powder in the past & mostly used it in homemade soups.
I love mushrooms but not in coffee -soup oh yes
Not for me -another Fad I think
This is interesting
I would give it a go.
I like mushrooms, but this is not something that interests me.
Nothing healthy if it has coffee in it or you mix with coffee, coffee is not a health product. Also it is important to know where supplements are made and raw materials sourced from, if they are chemical grown you will not benefit. There is a good trusted Australian company that sell sustainable organic grown, please support them.
Yes try to buy Australian when you can and if there is a choice.
I am the same except I buy NZ first
Not surprised especially with Meghan Markle she only ever wants what can make her Money 🤑💰 Clevr Blends but mushroom latte not sure if I would drink it or not.
So True
I couldn’t agree more. At the Palace they used to refer to her as MeGain.
Don’t know if I would try this or not.
Didn’t know she was vegan/flexitarian, interesting!
No thank you, not too keen on this product.
Hmm not a fan of Megan markle but I do love my mushrooms.
She really is lovely but I dont think any of these products are for me.
Oh god supplement companies are such a minefield. So much health misinformation, wild claims and they are highly unregulated. I hope for her sake that it has a reasonable amount of evidence behind it!
I prefer my coffee without any additives. If it worked in a smoothie then I might try it providing I couldn’t taste the mushrooms.
so many new and different types of so called healthy coffee
I’d definitely be curious to try it though not sure if it would alter the taste of my cappucino..
Flexitarian has always struck me as a particularly unnecessary term.
I wouldn’t be interested either but I just can’t stand anything to do with Meghan either. The less I see and hear of her the better. 🙂
Agree with you Jatz.
I dislike both mushrooms and coffee, so not for me
Not something I’m keen on, very influencer-y
Mmm not sure I like the sound of it, probably would ruin my cup of tea
I would try it but being backed by a celebrity doesn’t appeal to me whatsoever.
I’d like to try this. Sounds as though it is beneficial.
I will not buy.
Not for me thank you.
Not for me
I am not a fan of mushroom.Don’t think i would try this.
no thank you
Easy way to get what the body needs if diet is not enough, can be expensive though
I would try if it didn’t change the taste of coffee too much
Woah the packaging is so cute! X
The products seem interesting but I dont like her as a person, she is weird so would probably avoid on that alone
Sounds interesting but I’ll bet expensive.
Meghan investing in the company will immediately increase its profits anyway. Smart move from the company!
Yuck. No thanks.
Interesting I would try this
