Hands up who already has post-chocolate guilt?
If you ask us, a Lindt bunny is always worth it, but if you’d like to make it through the Easter holiday without sudden weight gain, AND enjoy the best Cadbury has to offer, you’ll need to create some balance withexercise.

Thankfully, the Biggest Loser Club knows how to burn the exact calories each Easter treat is worth. So we’ve matched our favourites with the exercises needed (and amount of time you’ll need to do them) for a woman of average height, weighing around 70 kg.
And luckily, most can be done while adhering to social distancing rules too!

In addition to the above, consider upping your daily intake of healthy foods that burn calories too, to further minimise the damage!
What’s your favourite kind of exercise? And more importantly, what’s your favourite Easter treat?
I just don’t buy or eat them. Most are made from a really cheap chocolate with lots of sugar added. If you eat them, check which country they are from.
Yeah I’m glad I’ve got some I purchased a few weeks ago for my family for easter. I wouldn’t want to have tohead into the shops atm. I’ve also learnt to make bread in the last couple of days so I don’t have to buy bread at the shops all the time.
I agree!!
I wouldn’t mind having to dance for just 1/2 hour for one of those deliciious creme eggs. Use to love them before I found I can’t eat dairy!! Now I occasionally have dairy-free choccies but they are not as good as a creme egg.
If I don’t buy it, it’s not here and I can’t eat it. Simple. But hubby and I have bought each other a Lindt bunny for Easter. I think the dog will be happy with that because she will get some extra walks. I don’t normally eat chocolate etc. I stay away from it.
I’ve already gained weight since this whole isolation/staying at home situation started. I have to stop snacking so much
Best chocolate ever is Haighs, but due to current circumstances we can’t get into the City to buy some. But I’m sure we will enjoy our Lindt.
My treats? Fruits and peanuts. Every day. Easter? Fruits and peanuts =D
Since my body loves fuel I give it to…I’m not fussy about “exercise”. Just relaxing…
Do the trips to the fridge count as exercise? 🙂
Definitely won’t be bingeing on Chocolate this Easter but will have to watch desserts like Tiramisu.
If I’m going to put a chocolate in my mouth, I’m going to exercise.
Me too. Eating for Australia. Unbelivable that a hollow egg has that many calories.
I don’t love exercise, but it’s needed with all of this extra snacking I have been doing
Haha I’m eating for the world 😛
I’m not a massive chocolate fan but I do enjoy a yearly treat of some creme eggs! I’ve been keeping up gym sessions but outside while the weather is still good.
This is much needed
Can’t really do a lot of these exercises at the moment. Gotta try and find something I can do soon
Not a worry here this year. No chocolate in the house and I wont be going to the supermarket until at least next Thursday. No Easter Chocolate here.
I am loving the apple and cinnamon hot cross buns! So good with a cuppa haha ! Oh dear. I’ve been doing some sort of walk or like aerobic exercise each day to try to keep up haha
I agree! This is actually a good trade haha
I am pacing myself over here and trying not to have too much sweets (sometimes it works, sometimes it does not), but I am trying to establish a morning exercise routine of push ups, planks and walk the doggo.
So have I. I need to both curb my sweet tooth + stop baking for a little while, then up the exercise regimen.
Its crazy how many calories a tiny piece of chocolate has.
I enjoy Cadbury hollow chocolate eggs, yum. Walking is my go to exercise, I do it regularly even when not eating chocolate.
My favourite workout has been doing yoga and pilates, but I think I’d need to clock up a lot of hours to burn off the chocolate I’ve been eating so far!
Luckily I don’t have a real sweet tooth. I enjoy a little bit of chocolate every now and then. I’m a firm believer in all things in moderation.
Hope everyone has a very Happy Easter and enjoys their Easter eggs and hot cross buns – I will be!
Noooo don’t make me feel bad about easter eggs even before I’ve had any!
I have been baking a lot as well as I find it’s a great way to pass the time. I made cinnamon sugar donuts but stopped myself after having two. I have been trying to go on a walk at least once a day to increase my physical activity and try to burn off what I’ve eaten
Replying to myself 2 years later… I sound so angry there. I apologise haha So funny …
So have I! It’s a disaster haha I tried a living room workout today. I just gotta try to stop all the fun foods!
I’d happily trade a bit of walking for a Lindt bunny hahah
There is a dairy free creme egg by the brand called Mummy Meagz but I believe they are sold in the UK. I’ve never had it before but it looks good!
I walk for exercise. Hardly have any chocolate in the house at the moment.Prefer savoury things like chips over chocolate. No chips in the house at the moment either. Trying to be good..
Nope haven’t bought any Easter chocolate and would normally get a fair share working in an office environment – not this year! Maybe next supermarket trip.
I was running out of snacks so I baked a chocolate cake. Half of it is gone and I have no desire to work it off but I’ll try to go for a walk later today.
Ooh I loves me some chocolate! Managing to get out for a few short runs to run off some calories. Not too impressed at the young guys getting together drinking beers just off the track.
OK looks like a few 45 min walks for me – I love Lindt bunnies!
As Homer Simpson says, why are the bad things always so tasty!
Luckily I’ve been walking a fair bit lately and just as well after all those hot cross buns I’ve been eating.
Always happy to run for chocolate
Boxing it is!
Haha me too!! That’s actually a pretty good trade !
Yumm !! I want to bake some scones!
Good tips 🙂
I feel less guilty today. Had my bunny and had my quarantine walk so win win.
So far I’ve had one bun and no chocolate but a good walk in the fresh air with the dogs is always a good habit to keep up
just been balancing excercise and choccy eggs!
I have not had that much chocolate this year but being at home has meant more baking. My isolation walks and yoga is only helping me stay the same (though I am actually a little more active than when I am at work…). Well staying the same is better than me getting bigger.
One I too many eggs at Easter. Just got to work a bit harder at the moment !
Yeap – Need to do some exercise – too many eggs
