It’s International Women’s Day and here at beautyheaven we’re proud as punch to be female! To celebrate, we’ve rounded up a few of our favourite female founded beauty brands that all began with little more than a woman and a dream.
It’s an interesting time to be a woman in today’s society but there’s little doubt that for a lot of us, beauty products are a form of self-expression that can make us feel confident and empowered. And while you don’t need anything more than a smile to look your most radiant self, a little swipe of lipstick, self tanner or mascara can go a long way.
So what better way to celebrate women than by shining a light on the girl bosses that have dreamed up some of our favourite beauty brands? Some have created big, established brands and others are busy building smaller, up-and-coming businesses, but they all have one thing in common – a woman who dreamed she could, so she did.
