Papa Althans – one of my favourite people in the whole world.
Over the years he has provided me with many a word of wisdom (as a teenager these tidings often fell on deaf ears, now I’m lucky to have my very own life coach, financial adviser and relationship guru all on speed dial!).
He’s been my own personal taxi driver/ATM, and helped steer me up the right garden path, but most of all he’s one of the kindest and funniest people I know – providing much entertainment with those great ‘old man’ stories from way back when; trips gallivanting around America in the swinging 60’s, the night (decked in his favourite pair of flares) he gate crashed a house party in London and met my mum; and the adventures we all had emigrating to Sweden when my brother, sister and I were all ankle-biters….
So this shout out goes to you Eddy, all the way across the pond to simply say thank you for being you!
