Oh, how the teeth whitening game has changed. Once upon a time (not very long ago), having your teeth whitened was a service only accessible at the dentist and one that would set you back hundreds of dollars. And now? Well, just like root touch-ups and LED face masks have become a luxury we can treat ourselves to in the comfort of our own home, now too is keeping our teeth sparkling white.
From pens to strips to powders, these are the best at-home teeth whitening products on the market…
The best teeth whitening products

Revlon Intense White Duo Kit With Added Botanicals
We say: Here’s a kit to cover all bases. Use Revlon’s whitening strips for regular maintenance and keep the whitening pen on hand for quick, on-the-go touch-ups. Within 14 days, you won’t even recognise that dazzling smile.
You say: “The whitening pen is designed to prolong the whitening effects of the strips and can be used on the go. It’s easy to apply to teeth, however it did cause some gum irritation. Overall, this is an easy to use and affordable kit, that did help make my teeth a bit whiter in only 2 weeks.” – drramsay82

Oral-B 3D White Whitestrips
We say: As far as whitening strips go, Oral-B’s are the gold standard. Each strip has been crafted with a grippy texture to ensure there’s no slipping and sliding. Not only will they leave your teeth looking whiter but they’ll also feel cleaner thanks to the removal of build-up happening below the tooth’s surface. Trust us, these things seriously work.

Have you tried at-home whitening products before? If not, would you like to?
I’m just reluctant to try any of them.
Me too, if I was interested in getting my teeth cleaned I think I would get it done at the dentist
I have used whitening products but they never really worked for me
I’ve used whitening toothpaste only and noticed a slight difference but I don’t feel game enough to venture into these other products.
I use whitening toothpaste. Not sure how much of an impact it has, but I think my teeth look okay.
I think they are good for coffee and tea stains which is good.
I have never used whitening products, my dentist hates the subject its as if everyone cringes when they hear it. I am curious about the long term effects
I tried peroxide when I was young and did so much damage to the enamel that when I got older it cost me a fortune to have my teeth fixed.
Oh no this sounds awful and costly.
I have the Gem pen. Haven’t used it yet though.
I would not use any of those products. I’m using Gem toothpaste (same company as the pen above) and like it. The pen H peroxide and my teeth can’t cope with it.
I also use gem toothpaste. Never had any luck from the whiteners (and not good for teeth).
I’ve used the Revlon whitener and a good whitening toothpaste, it’s cheaper and more convenient than going to a dentist
yeah love the convenience too!
They can be ok for those with stained teeth. Those with none and just natural born with shade (that is not totally white) no
Has anyone used any of these?
I’ve used a few different things at home to try and whiten my teeth but they don’t work. A bit gimmicky.
I do think they work on stains so if you drink red wine or tea and coffee a lot I think they work well.
I tend to go for those for sensitive teeth – the Gem ones are pretty good and I love the Revlon ones!
I really, really, want to whiten my teeth but am afraid of damaging the enamel. Have heard some stories??
I’m too scared to DIY at home. I’ve had them whitened professionally once and the results were good.
I would love whiter teeth
These are effective, ive tried them
I haven’t tried these but purchased a professional one from my (former) Dentist which cost me a motza.
I have tried whitening toothpastes and use a charcoal toothpaste once a week which does whiten my teeth and makes them feel clean.
I don’t think these work.
Thanks for posting this! I will listen to some of these when I have some free time 🙂
