Well beauties, the bad news is the Beauty School semester is coming to an end. The good news is we’ve had such a great response we’ve decided to carry on with the classes!
From now on, Friday arvo will no longer just be the final countdown to your weekend. You’ll also be able to look forward a regular 5pm super-simple, ultra-do-able how-to (perfect to put into practice on the weekend).
We’ll cover everything from make-up and hair styles, to skin care and body treatments – and whatever else you ask of us in between!
And speaking of which, here are some answers to a few of your questions we didn’t get round to covering in class this week:
Q: Is blow-drying your hair flipped upside down really better?
A: It’s not necessarily a question of better, but if you flip your hair upside down and blast air through the roots it will definitely increase volume and promote natural movement through your locks.
Q: Should I apply concealor over or under my foundation?
A: Apply your foundation first, then cover up any blemishes or shadows with concealor afterwards.
Q: How should I apply eyeliner to make my eyes looks rounder and bigger?
A: If your peepers are smaller, it’s best to apply your dark liner along your outer lash line only. You can however use a nude or white liner along the bottom inner rim of your eyes as this helps give the appearance of wider peepers.
Q: Are there any beauty tricks that can get rid of cellulite?
A: Body brushing and exfoliating your skin regularly are great ways to stimulate your circulation and loosen the fatty deposits that cause cellulite. You can also look for specific cellulite-busting creams and lotions that often contain caffeine and other ingredients to reduce water retention and give your skin a more toned appearance.
