I know it sometimes seems as though women change their haircut or colour more often than their underwear, but really? 150 times? You better believe it, because it’s true.
According to the Daily Mail, the average woman changes her hairstyle 150 times during her lifetime. The study of 2000 women revealed that females will experiment with 100 shades of colour throughout their life, and those aged between 15 and 65 will visit their hairdresser five times per year on average.
Initially that may sound like quite a lot, but when you look at celebrities like Victoria Beckham and the large number of hair transformations she’s had throughout the years, it really doesn’t seem so unreasonable. In fact, one of the most common reasons women change their hair is because they see a style or colour on a celebrity that they like.
Other reasons for paying the hair salon a number visits include boredom, going through a life change and, of course, keeping up with the latest trends. And you know what? Simply writing this post has even made me want to change my hair!
How many hairstyles have you had throughout your life? Do you like to experiment or stick to subtle changes?
