Schwarzkopf’s newest permanent hair colour is the first ever multi-usage permanent colour foam that also requires no mixing before application. The hair dye leaves hair looking rich and vibrant while liquid keratin helps regenerate the hair structure, leaving hair strong and healthy. The design of the bottle, which features two separate canisters that dispense foam and colourant through one nozzle, allows users to make one full application as well as one root application after four weeks.

Members were impressed with the innovative design of the hair colour container and appreciated that they didn’t need to pre-mix the product but could simply pump and mix the two formulas in their hands as they needed. Some members did find that the lighter shades of hair dye made it difficult to tell if the two formulations were mixed properly in their hands.

In terms of hair colour results, most members were happy with the even coverage and rich, vibrant hues – especially those who selected darker shades. On the whole, members felt that their hair was left silky, shiny and healthy (with the help of the conditioner provided, too). Some members mentioned they found the colour range to be a quite limited and looked forward to new shades being released.

One of the main things members loved about the design of the hair dye bottle was the fact that any unused product could be used at a later date for root touch-ups (or an entire head if their hair was short), meaning nothing went to waste.

I feel that this aspect of the product makes it great value for money because if you have leftover product, then you don’t have to throw it away, you can use it to colour your roots in a few weeks’ time. Even for someone like me who has very thick, long hair and usually needs two packets in order to cover it all. “The applicator for this product is so easy to use and the fact that it eliminates the need to premix the solutions together is just awesome. The mousse is a nice consistency and doesn’t drip and distributes through the hair really well.
