If you’re a new-look novice: Plait it safe

“Designer Alexander Wang requested a classically American hairstyle for his runway show, so I responded with a carefree braid that felt timeless yet modern, with loose pieces and a new side placement,” says Redken Creative Consultant, Guido Palau.
You’ll need:
– Volumising spray such as, Redken 5th Avenue NYC – Style Portfolio Guts 10
– Finishing spray such as, Redken 5th Avenue NYC – Style Portfolio Forceful 23
– Elastic bands
– Fine-tooth comb
Get the look:
1.) Apply your volumising spray to damp hair and blow-dry.
2.) Create a low side braid. If you have a long fringe or face-framing layers, leave them loose.
3.) Lightly backcomb your fringe or layers with a fine-tooth comb, and brush them to the side. Finish by misting your strands with some finishing spray.
