The Revolution HairCare Bond Plex Range includes a four step system: treatment, shampoo, conditioner and styling cream. Bond-repairing technology has been used throughout the range to restore and strengthen hair from within the strand. Hair bonds are responsible for how strong, elastic and shiny our hair is, however as a result of damage from external elements like colour or heat, these bonds are often broken or damaged. The Revolution HairCare technology, which has been paired with plant proteins and panthenol, works to reestablish broken bonds, leaving the hair stronger, smoother and softer.
The experience our Trial Team users had using the Revolution HairCare Bond Plex Range on their hair could be summed up in one word: transformational. Before the trial, participants described their hair as coarse, frizzy, damaged and generally unmanageable.
The 3 Bond Restore Treatment, intended as a pre-shampoo step, left members’ hair “dramatically different”. Some opted to wear the treatment as an overnight mask, while others rinsed it after 15 minutes. Both techniques, however, left members with visibly frizz-free hair, even after letting it air-dry. For participants in the trial whose busy lifestyles often led them to neglect their hair, the reduction in styling time was welcomed.
Next up: the 4 Bond Plex Shampoo. According to members, the sulphate-free formula breathed life into dull, damaged roots without stripping existing colour. It also significantly reduced frizz around the hairline while increasing strength and shine at the roots. They particularly appreciated how well the formula lathered up, as well as the pleasant scent, which they noted was not too overpowering.
The 5 Bond Plex Conditioner followed, targeting mid-to-end lengths. It was a big hit with Trial Team members who enjoyed how silky it left their hair, eliminating any dryness or stubborn knots on the spot. Value-conscious members appreciated how little formula was needed to sufficiently coat their hair, pleased that they wouldn’t need to replace the bottle too frequently.
At this stage, members were already blown away with how strong, shiny and healthy their hair had become, but the 6 Bond Restore Styling Cream only enhanced it further. As the final step in the routine, Trial Team members revealed this was not a step to be skipped, particularly for those who are particularly frizz or flyaway prone. Participants described the styling cream as nourishing and deeply hydrating, removing the “crispy” feeling from their dry ends.
Based on the impressive before-and-after results during the two week trial, members expressed a desire to continue using the range in order to maintain the shine, softness, and overall health of their hair.

“I have been using them all together for 3 weeks now and I have noticed dramatic improvement to my hair such as shine, strength and looking/feeling more nourished. I have also noticed less hair fall out since trialling this range! I am really impressed so far and I will definitely continue to use the range. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to repair and nourish their hair and quite affordable price range for salon quality products.” – Ness904
“I am so delighted and thankful to BH team for given chance to review this amazing products. My hair is more hydrated, shinier and does not look flat as that happens with some products. This products worked with my hair as if some one had a ‘talk’ with my hair to behave. My user experience was fantastic, loved the packaging, fragrance, products consistency and outcome.” – You Beauty
“Overall I have found that my hair is so much less frizzy, it air dries so much quicker and my hair just looks so much more moisturized. I have been loving the frizz-free results I have been getting that I have started to leave my hair in its natural state and not heat style which is not something I would have ever done before. I will continue using the products as I feel they are helping my poor hair come back to life wash by wash.” – JasmineRay
“I have seen miracle happening with my hair ! I still use my straightener but amount has been cut to 10% ! I am blown away with the results on my hair ! My hair looks shiny healthy and more naturally styled! The products themselves are easy to use and follow ! This can be easily fit in your normal Haircare routine. I am so glad I have found this product and I am definitely going to recommend this to all my family and friends.” – Sue769
Not a range I would use, but it has some benefits for other BH members by the looks of it.
Think I’ll take a look at the reviews for more detail on these products to see if they are a viable alternative to the more-established but more-expensive Plex brand.
That was my thought too. I did love Olaplex so it’ll be interesting to see how this stacks up against it.
Not a replacement for Ola. Nothing to do with reconstructing hair shaft. I gave up on using the range and longer I was using , my hair looked worse.
Oh no! I’ve not tried the Olaplex range and I was hoping that this may be a more budget friendly alternative.
oohhh yes please! Keen to give this a try
Some of the reviewers mentioned that their normal hair became oily. My hair is very oily, so I don’t think the range would suit me.
me also, so must be wrong for me as well I reckon
my didn’t. But did became dry and stiff. And puffy. Volumised and stiff. I continued to use the range after the trial…and after 2 more weeks had to give up. Missed my flowy soft n silky hair.
My comments are censored. So can not reply. Wish I could add now more to my review after using it for much longer.
I read your review, Yohanna – would your additional comments be positive or negative?
Not positive. Just add to efficiency and value of the whole range. See absolute no improvement in hair quality. When using longer after the trial, my hair looked lifeless. So having a break and will revisit later.
It would be helpful for everyone if a follow up was available perhaps a month after the trial finished.
My favourite product was the Bond Restore Styling Cream 6.
I was lucky to be on this trial
Which was favourite in the range?
The results and ratings look good. I haven’t heard of this brand before. Thanks for trialing these products beauties.
I only knew of their cosmetics range until today!
I haven’t trialed these products either, I must say I think the containers look rather ordinary.
Yes, I agree Normap.
I need some of this. My hair is frizzy. I keep it up in a ponytail to draw less attention to it.
I have frizzy hair too. Sounds like Revolution might help us.
Wow what a great trial to be on! Lucky people! I would be keen to try these products.
What an amazing trial. I would love to try this for my dry and frizz prone curly hair.
my comment is censored xD
Now that sounds good, I would like to sample it.
I have used Revolution makeup products and some are good for the affordable price. Although I would normally consider a ‘system’ approach to hair care, I’m curious about trying this range now.
What a great trial to be on
Would of been a great trial to be on as my hair is frizzy and dry
This would have been a great trial to be on.
Interesting products although I’m not sure I would use them.
I didn’t realise Revolution listed on BH until now.
Always love reading about Dupes
Same here. There’s a good K Beauty dupe for Olaplex as well.
Too many steps for me unless I really needed hair help
Results look good for this range!!!!
The products in this trial sound amazing. Definitely something I’d love to try!
That’s for the info
I’ve never heard of this brand before, I’m going to read some more reviews from the trial. I have oily hair and it seems like this isn’t ideal for my locks.
I’ll stick with my recommended hairdresser’s hair products but sending congratulations to those on the trial.
Not something I’d use.
I’d say I like this range enough to consider a purchase of No.3 myself which I can out. I’ve used Ola #3 and personally prefer Revolution #3. I am not much of a fan for #6 though.
Revolution are branching out into all beauty areas it seems.
I have not heard this before.
Looks like an interestng range
I’ll be giving this brand a try next.
Not sure I would use this range but they seem to have good reviews.
I have frizzy unruly hair. I would like to try this shampoo out
It reminds me of Olaplex, sounds like a brand Id really like
Nice trial.
After reading some of the comments, I’m not sure about this range.
Id love to try these, it could work for my curly thick frizzy dry hair
Sounds like a good range
