Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and with the extra challenge of social distancing in play this year, now’s a good a time as any to start your present prep.
Because while we may not be able to pop ’round for a surprise visit or organise a family gathering, sending something in the post is the next best thing.
We for one are welcoming the distraction of a gift search, and have rounded up some of the best beauty buys available for online delivery, so you can show the number one woman in your life just how special she is.
So get sending now, give her strict instruction not to open ’til the morning of, and you can watch her face light up with glee on FaceTime.
And a big virtual hug and much love to those who have lost their mums. We’re thinking of you always. – bh x

How do you usually celebrate Mother’s Day? What are you gifting this year/hoping to receive?
I usually buy my mum gift vouchers, but I wouldn’t this year because sadly you don’t know which shops may or may not reopen. It really is very sad isn’t it. I think I might look for some nice jewellery, or something from Swarovski.
Don't forget mum during the crisis. Working extra hard. My biological mum died 25 years ago. Luckily I have another 'mum' I adopted as mine. Always get her a gift and get myself one too. After all there comes a time when we all have to learn to mother ourselves.
Oh what a great prize – my Mum is 81 and has shocking arthritis she dries her hard to dry bits with a hairdryer which prevents rashes etc – I would just love to gift her a new one for Mothers Day !
I have no one to buy for. I am the Mum and have no idea what I want this year at all. I had decided i would ask for some NZ cash for my supposed trip across the ditch but goodness knows when that might be happening now.
My Mum passed away a long time ago, when I think of Mothers Day it's what I might get from my teenagers, at the moment I think they feel more like strangling me rather than buying lovely gifts.
Great list! It's one date that's the same in Canada but I alternate between doing something and not. I think I'll definitely do something this year though because of Mumsie being cooped up inside.
We're not a gift-giving family in general, so all my Mum would want is some acknowledgement of the day via a card with a winning lottery ticket popped inside. I've seen what happens when you forget in general & it's not pretty lol. (Luckily, to paraphrase Shaggy, it wasn't me who forgot but my brother.)
We celebrate by spending it together and this year looking at creating a gorgeous beauty hamper to brighten her day as she enriches our lives with love, kindness and inspiration that sparkles in a truly unique kind of way!
Some good suggestions here. It is fast approaching. Hope we get to see our mothers this year. Fingers crossed the situation gets better
I agree. I have my Mum's Birthday on the same day.
Lovely suggestions here.

We have just ordered Mother’s Day gifts so fingers crossed they make it there in time.
I must start online window shopping! Mum loves Lancôme so normally get her stuff from there

Nice gift suggestions. The GH set looks appealing.
Some absolutely fabulous products to send Mum for Mother's Day.
My mum is hard to buy for, it would be easier if she was into beauty products

My mum prefers face products or gold 🙂

Not sure what to get Mum this year, she is hard to buy for. I might get her some flowers.
What? Is it almost Mothers Day already?!
These are actually good ideas – trying to find something suitable for my MIL.

Mum was extremely challenging to buy presents for (she's not alive now), but I have no trouble buying gifts for myself!

Have decided to buy Mum some Lancome Tresor as she's nearly run out of her current bottle.
Some nice gifts there but I have to be content with a lick and a cuddle from my fur babies.
I really hope you buy yourself something lovely for Mothers' Day – or any time – Petal. You deserve some pampering.
Amazing gift ideas, I think my mum would love any one of these
