dry shampoo devotee I appreciate the simplicity of a spray and brush product and Magic Retouch delivered on this. Similar to dry shampoo the key is not spraying it too close to your head, as other reviewers have noted a good distance is at least 10 cm. Any overspray can be taken care of with a makeup wipe. The product provided great coverage and was easy to blend into my hair so the transition from the roots was subtle. The colour lasted a long time, I wash my hair every two days and it easily lasted until then. RRP for this product is $15.95 for a 75 ml can which I considered to be a pretty good deal considering how handy it is and how much salon colouring costs.

Retouch is super easy to use and fantastic when you are looking for a quick fix to tame those stubborn grey hairs. I have very dark brown hair so in between getting my hair coloured the Magic Retouch product is really a must have in my makeup/hair cupboard now. It saves me having to worry and leaves my hair still looking like it has just been dyed. It does last for a couple of days but if you have brushed your hair multiple times over that period it does start to brush the colour out, but if I just reapply a little bit it then lasts through to my next wash. The packaging is nice as it stands out and the nozzle makes it easy to use.

is such a handy little product! The bottle is a convenient size that you can slip into your bag or purse, which is great for ’emergency’ touch-ups, should that errant grey strand ever jump out (don’t you just hate when that happens). I used it along the hairline at my forehead, but being a first-time user, I got some of the product onto my skin, so I wiped it off, which was easily done. The colour stayed put until my next shampoo, and it didn’t transfer onto my clothes. The nozzle is actually quite precise , so it’s really quite easy to apply. It’s something I would definitely incorporate into my beauty routine between colouring. For many time-poor peeps, this a godsend. The whole process of colouring just takes up so much time and is such a hassle. As for picking out the right shade to match your hair colour, I can see it being a little tricky for some, but mine’s black, so it was easy-peasy for me.

pleased to see that the product comes in a conveniently sized spray can that is the perfect size to pop into your handbag for on-the-go touch ups. It has a very thin nozzle that works well for both small and larger areas. It is extremely easy to use and provides great coverage. I chose the light brown shade and found that it was a pretty good match for my dark blonde hair. The product is very similar to dry shampoo in that it is a dry powdery consistency. I found that it works best if the less-is-more approach is taken and a clean mascara wand is used to blend the product in. It worked very well on clean, dry hair and even better on 2-day-old hair. All in all, I found it to be a great product and I would definitely recommend it to everyone looking for a simple solution to cover up greys.

al Paris Magic Retouch – Instant Root Concealer Spray is a must have for any hair colour devotee. This is a hand bag AND bathroom cabinet must have. At this price you can keep one in all those last minute places for all those last minute emergencies. I was so skeptical yet so surprised at the effectiveness of coverage of this product. For the time poor glamour, who likes to keep some little shades of grey secrets to herself, this is your product (guys – this one is definitely for you too as there is no horrid flowery girly smell to this little can of concealing secrets). I found the spray nozzle gave a great range of spray coverage on the roots along my part and crown. I sprayed onto a mascara brush and controlled the application to my liking. This Magic Retouch concealer spray has great staying power and kept it’s place all day long and was as easy to wash out as promised. I also liked that it did not dry out my hair after washing it out.
