How to: tucked under hair

How to: tucked under hair

Kate Beckinsale rocked a tucked-under ‘do at the premiere of her new flick Whiteout earlier in the week. I love this look, I’ve been sporting a similar to-the-side style recently and it’s ridiculously easy to do…

1.    The style works best on a day-old shampoo so if you can, avoid washing your hair before you start. (Klorane Extra Gentle Dry Shampoo will take any obvious oil out of the hair.)

2.    Spritz hair with evo® Mister Fantastic – be careful to spray from 30cm away, you want to spritz to help with dishevelled texture, not wet the hair.

3.    Next up, rub a small amount of Aveda Pure Abundance Hair Potion into the scalp from the middle of the head downwards – this will add additional volume making it easy to create the messy style.

4.    It’s not a defined style so just start grabbing sections, tucking them in on themselves and securing with a bobby pin.

5.    Finish with a light spritzing of hairspray (try Kérastase Paris Résistance Double Force Spray). And voila – you’re red carpet ready.
